Best Guide in Sitka - This could not have been better. Kealoha felt like a family member giving us a tour of her home town. We were so comfortable we made her one of us. We were off a cruise ship and had to return on board it felt like leaving a family member behind. She made this our best stop on our Alaskan Cruise. We shall be back and looking forward to be reunited with Kealoha. Best regards from your "Kenyan family".

Great Way to see Sitka - Kealoha picked us up at the terminal right on time. Her Suburban was clean and spacious for our group of four adults. She had previously asked us where we wanted to go and had a route planned out. Her local knowledge was very informative and she was very friendly. This was a much better experience than loading onto a tour bus. Thanks so much, Kealoha!

VIP Sitka Tour - TLTR: Just book with Kealoha! *I am not paid, nor did I get a discount for my review* We decided to spurge for a trip to Alaska but wanted to have excursions that were intimate and not with 100 people on a bus and not at the schedule of the provider. We did this at each port of call and got a gem with Kealoha. Resident of Sitka gave us a tour of the island with our desired attractions along with her input. She suggested we visit the National Forest; this was not on our radar to begin as we thought our teenage boys would get bored quick. Got dropped off at the entry like a VIP as with all stops, and to our surprise, it was Pink Salmon spawn in the river of the Sitka National Forest. Mind was blown by the sights. Kealoha provided all the facts and was able to answer all our inquiring questions about the ecosystem. It was so interesting to hear of the history of Sitka and what day-to-day life is like for the community, as a group of 4 rather than a group of 40+. When we arrived in Sitka, the main fiber Internet communication to the island was severed. We wanted to visit the Raptor Center, but they only accepted cash due to the Internet outage. Kealoha was able to negotiate with the center to get us access and see the amazing birds of prey they work to rehabilitate and house. Afterwards we visited the Bear Fortress, which we thought was a tourist trap. Kealoha explained they take in cubs when the mother is killed or poisoned as they could not survive on their own. It was only $40 for the 4 of us and the money is used to pay for the hundreds of pounds of food needed daily to feed the occupants. When we arrived, it was jammed up jelly tight with lots of tours. Kealoha asked use to hold tight while she parked and noted the tours would clear soon. Just as she stated, they started calling for “green stickers” to report to bus departure, followed by “orange stickers”, and then “green bands”; next thing we knew, we were there with just a few dozen visitors. Kealoha helped make memories for a lifetime for my family and it was less expensive than the cruise tours. My sincere appreciation to Kealoha.

Tolle Tour - Highly recommended tour. Tailor-made according to our wishes. Super understandable English even for non-native speakers. We would definitely book this tour again.

The best way to experience Sitka - Kealoha was great, flexible, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Her vehicle is very convenient for a family of 6 people, and she worked with us before the tour on what we preferred to see. It was great to be privately picked up from the ship dock, and not having to squeeze into a bus with 50 other guests. Highly recommended.

The Best Private Tour! - Kealoha, our tour guide was fantastic! She had great communication right from the start so we could coordinate pick up and she was very accommodating to pick us up wherever we were. She has a very warm and friendly personality and will tell you everything you want to know about Sitka and the places you will visit. She will customize your tour to take you where you want. It’s so awesome when you see a bus full of people who have to move at a certain pace and you can go at whatever pace you like and move on to the next stop. We had a fabulous day with Kealoha and I guarantee you will too!

LOVED this tour!!!! With 4 kids!! - We had a wonderful time with Kealoha earlier this week. Her tour has been the highlight of our trip to Alaska. We arrived on the Norwegian Bliss, she communicated beautifully with us. Picked us up at the dock at the cruise terminal. We then went on a customizable tour (which I gave her the lead on, bc I had no idea what to do with 4 kids). She took us to the Fortress of the Bears, on a hike (which she showed us so many native plants, ones to avoid, ones to eat and ones that were healing plants). My 14 year old son REALLY loved this part of the tour. After the tour she dropped us in town with some great food recommendations. We had a FANTASTIC time. If I come back to Sitka, I will be call Kealoha!
