Our expert guide will lead you through the captivating Tongass National Forest along the Thimbleberry trail hike. This short journey winds through the forest, offers views from the waterfall’s top, and continues to Thimbleberry Lake for photo opportunities with a beautiful backdrop. The trail is graded and manageable for even novice hikers.

Starrigavan Recreation Area - Our tours vary daily, selecting the best location based on the season, wildlife viewing opportunities, or weather. Starrigavan Recreation Area is a frequent stop and is wheelchair accessible.
Explore diverse habitats at Starrigavan Recreation Area. Spot great blue herons, bald eagles, common mergansers, belted kingfishers, canvasbacks, mallards, buffleheads, and many other birds along the Estuary Life Trail, a barrier-free ¼-mile boardwalk. From July through September, coho and pink salmon return to Starrigavan Creek, attracting river otters or brown bears. Look out for Sitka black-tailed deer and brown bears on the ¾-mile Forest and Muskeg Trail.

- We can accomodate guests with mobility impairments by adjusting the route to your ability. Please send us a message and let us know. Our vans cannot fit larger electric scooters however
- Children who are required by Alaskan Road Systems to be in a car/booster seat can be accommodated- You must bring your car seat or make arrangements with us ahead of time to use one of ours and must install it yourself- No lap infants/children. You must arrive 10 min before departure
- Wheelchair accessibility limited to guests who can transfer in and out of the vehicle on their own or with the assistance of another guest. Wheelchair must be able to fold up and fit in the back space of a minivan. We cannot accommodate traditional electric scooters. Please call if you have specific questions
