Please follow the signs for the downtown shuttle at the cruise ship dock. When you arrive at the Visitors Center/Harrigan Centennial Hall, Look for the "Tour and Excursions" sign. The Captain will be waiting for you near the large covered shelter area.

Fantastic tour! Had a great time! - Had a great time seeing the whales and otters of Sitka Bay! We even saw a breech, which was awesome. Captain Rick was very knowledgeable and his experience was apparent the whole tour. Highly recommend taking his tour!

Great whale watching with local Sitka Captain! - Great excursion with Captain Rick. He took the time to explain the history of his beautiful town and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves at all times. We were completely happy to have supported a local. Will recommend to friends and family going to Alaska. This was our favorite excursion out of all our stops(Sitka, Juneau, Icy Straight and Ketchikan)!

Best Excursion on the Sea - Captain Rick was an amazing tour guide. Friendly and very knowledgeable. We had the ship all to ourselves. He took 4 of us around Sitka to see some of the best sites and animal sightings. We saw several whales, Sea otters, Eagles, and sea lions. Would highly recommend him and his tour to anyone!

Fabulous Trip - This trip was by far our best experience of Alaska. If you want the best -you can stop searching now- because you’ve found it. Captain Rick took us out and showed us the place he loves - he was so generous with his time and went out of his way to show us what we wanted to see. He was very friendly and welcoming and chatted to us about his life in Sitka and about the amazing animals we saw- brown bears- one huge one! sea otters, bald eagles, salmon, humpback whales( a lot!) and sea lions all in a starkly beautiful area. We had been looking forward to the tour for months and it was everything we hoped for and more. A big Thankyou to Captain Rick for a brilliant trip.

Fun on the water! - We loved this excursion! It was so cool to see the whales, sea lions and bears in their habitat. Rick was an awesome guide. A definite must do when in Sitka!

Definitely a FIVE STAR Experience! - Sitka Sound Tours was fantastic!! We booked last minute, solely based on the many 5-star reviews and were not disappointed whatsoever. Captain Rick was such a great host - he was knowledgeable, timely, extremely safe and very communicative in advance of our arrival. As a true native of the area, he knew exactly where to take us to see spectacular wildlife in Sitka Sound. We saw whales, sea lions, otters, eagles and more, and the landscape is magical. We couldn't recommend Captain Rick and Sitka Sound Tours more!
