Siwa is a must-see!! - I’m going to start by saying this: SIWA IS ABSOLUTELY WORTH THE TRIP.
We did a one day trip, to maximize our trip to Egypt. I wish we would have stayed longer. Let’s start with the drive. To preface, we had done a full day at the pyramids and sphinx so we were pretty tired before the drive to Siwa. My wife really wanted to go to the oasis, even with the 9 hour drive. The drive there was overnight for us, it was a bit chilly which we should’ve expected and prepared for but we didn’t haha but that was our fault. The four of us planned to sleep in the van on the way there and back, which we did. We arrived in Siwa around 7am, and met with Mahmoud, who had booked us two rooms in the Panta Lodge Hotel which we were super thankful for, so we could nap a bit before our day tour in Siwa. The hotel was great, breakfast was included and very good! We went in February so the temperature was cooler than we would have wanted but it warmed up slowly throughout the day for us. We headed out to check out the Citadel first. We had seen videos online and it did not disappoint. Mahmoud gave us a tour of the citadel and all its history, ending with a visit to the top of the city where he explained the areas we would be seeing throughout the day in Siwa and exploring the history behind it. We then took a trip to Cleopatra’s pool which was really cool to see, before heading to the (what we considered originally) main attraction - the salt lakes. The Salt Lakes are absolutely breathtaking, and mind blowing how it works. It was in the mid-60’s by time we arrived so we took a dip. It was really a sight to see and an unique experience in the middle of the desert!! We then headed straight to a hot spring and were able to shower while there before having one of THE best meals we had in Egypt. Afterwards, we went into the Sahara Desert for some sand dune bashing (INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!) and some photos that feel like they are from another time. We visited an oasis before heading to see some 40 million year old fossils in the desert. We capped the tour by doing some sand boarding in the Sahara Desert and had some Bedouin tea made by our driver, Mohammed at sunset. This portion was truly the most memorable part of our entire visit to Egypt, and we were grateful for the opportunity to do it. Mahmoud set up a surprise birthday cake for my wife back at the hotel before we headed back to Cairo, which made a special day for us just the greatest experience of our lives. Would HIGHLY recommend this experience for anyone going to Egypt, even if you do it in one day like us, it’s so worth it!! (Bring a blanket for the car ride though!)?10/10!!!

Best tour in Egypt - At first I thought the price was expensive, and it was so nice to come warmly and comfortably from Cairo to Siwa and to come by car comfortably in the city and within! I came to see the salt desert and the colors are so beautiful 👍 What's more, the president of the tour, the driver's guide is so friendly and in a fixed tour schedule + it was nice to say what we want to do.

Wonderful salt lakes, Siwa - The salt lakes of Siwa are an excellent walk. We bathed in the lake and drank Egyptian tea. I recommend 100% tour with Egypt Latin tours

Peaceful, amazing natural views, and perfect guide - 투어 전 가이드님이 이집트 중 제일 좋은 곳이 시와가 될 거라고 했는데, 그게 진짜였어요
조용하고 평화로우면서도 어디서도 보지 못한 자연들이 너무 멋있었어요
시와호수 물 색과 사막에 누워서 봤던 별을 잊지 못할 거에요
그리고 무엇보다 가이드님이 너무 좋았습니다. Ahmed 가이드님 진짜 웃겨서 같이 있어도 재미있고, 설명도 유익하고, 배려도 많이 해주셔서 감동 받은 순간들도 많고.. 잊지 못할 거에요
Before the tour, our guide said Siwa would be the best place in Egypt, and he was absolutely right.
It was quiet and peaceful, yet filled with stunning natural landscapes I’ve never seen anywhere else. I’ll never forget the color of Siwa Lake and the stars I watched while lying in the desert.
But most of all, our guide was amazing. Ahmed was so funny, making everything more enjoyable, and his explanations were really informative. He was also incredibly thoughtful, and there were many moments that truly touched me. I’ll never forget this experience

AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE! 😍 - I had a crush on Siwa. We had an incredible experience, my words would not be precise enough to describe my satisfaction.
Mahmoud (the organizer) was very reassuring and always caring for us, he was reachable and communicated with us to allow us to have a great experience.
From the desert, to the salt lake and the hot springs, everything was perfectly organized!
The restaurants chosen and the hotel was also great. You will go to breathtaking spots!
How you talk about Siwa without mentioning its population. The locals are very warm and welcoming. They have their hearts on their hands, it’s very authentic... I'm gonna miss them.
Finally, the best for last. We were accompanied from Cairo to Siwa by Eid (our guide for this experience). He became much more than a guide, but a friend. He was attentive to our needs, he made sure we were satisfied with every minute spent in Siwa. Funny, kind, reassuring, we felt safe from A to Z especially during the 8hour drive. If there is one guide I recommend, who knows every secret of every place, the best spots... it is Eid.

Our tour guide arranged a very thoughtful, friendly, and safety-conscious driver for us. Throughout the entire journey, having him by our side made us feel incredibly secure. Although the main tour guide didn’t accompany us the whole time, he made sure to thoughtfully arrange different guides for each day’s activities and even came to our hotel daily to check on us, which we truly appreciated.
During the desert camping trip, local guides warmly welcomed us and gave us an immersive experience of the desert’s charm. The guide for the historical site tour was also extremely professional, with a background in ancient artifacts, providing us with engaging and insightful explanations. Whether it was helping us while shopping or finding seats when needed, both the driver and the guides went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible.
Every person we interacted with left a positive impression on us. We highly recommend this tour guide – they were absolutely amazing!

The tour guide arranged the itinerary very carefully and met all the requirements. Each itinerary was well connected and very fun. The tour guide was very enthusiastic and friendly, and the price was fair. I seriously recommend it to everyone.

Siwa Oasis: All I can say is WOW! - What can I say about this experience except WOW! Because that’s all I kept saying throughout the whole tour, from the various sites & activities we did, to the hospitality & the delicious abundant food we received at the lodge & in between activities. Thank you to Mahmoud & his amazing team for giving my family and I a memorable stay. They were all very sweet, patient & accommodated for all our last-minute requests. They also went out of their way to organize something special to celebrate my sibling’s birthday which was while we were there. I only wish we could have stayed for longer & fully experience Siwa Oasis but our Egypt itinerary was already so jam packed, yet they still managed to give us the best experience possible.
Our Siwa Oasis experience included: Visiting & floating on the Siwa Salt Lakes (highlight!), dipping in the hot springs, 4X4 dune bashing & sand boarding in the Sahara Desert with tea & snacks around the fire in the Sahara Desert night (highlight!), visiting Siwa city & the fortress, & eating lots & lots of traditional food in between it all! I highly recommend that you try this experience with Mahmoud & his team, pick to stay as many days as possible & you will not regret it!

Breathtaking cultural tour with magestic sites - Breathtaking views, kind and knowledgeable hosts who are willing to go the extra mile for the comfort of your stay. Great magestic sites, peace and a cultural experience like no other. Honestly would do it again, one of my favourite places to reset and rejuvenate. The food was great and in abundance, way cheaper than Cairo or Giza and honest people who aren’t ripping you off like in the city. Mahmoud ensured my safety and smooth travel from the time I left Cairo and returned. Always available, great communication and great humanity. The tour package and activities surpassed my expectations

Highlight of our Egypt tour - 이집트 여행의 꽃이였어요! 투어가 하나하나 전부 알차고 너무 좋았어요 ㅎㅎ특히 다운타운 투어 도와준 가이드님 너무 열심히 지식전달해주셔서 감동 🥹 추가로 사막에서 bbq식사 했는데, 별이 쏟아지는 하늘아래 먹는 식사 너무너무 기억에 남아요! 차는 꼭 벤으로 업그레이드 하시길 ㅎㅎ 저희 가족은 큰차에 누워서 이동하니 하나도 힘들지 않았어요! 또 사장님이 빨래방 연결해주셔서 몇시간만에 밀린 빨래 후딱하고 이래저래 너무 편하고 좋았어요👍
This trip was the highlight of our Egypt adventure! Every part of the tour was well-organized and enjoyable. The downtown tour was especially memorable thanks to our guide, who was so passionate and knowledgeable—it was truly inspiring.
One of the optional experiences we tried was a BBQ dinner in the desert, and it turned out to be such an unforgettable memory. Dining under a sky full of stars was absolutely magical. If you’re booking, I highly recommend upgrading to a van—it made traveling so much more comfortable for our family, as we could stretch out and relax during the rides.
On top of that, the owner even helped us arrange a laundry service, so we got all our clothes cleaned in just a few hours, which was incredibly convenient. Overall, the experience was seamless and exceeded all our expectations!
