Very good trip - Trip was very good comfortable car. Driver was very nice and polite but didn’t speak English. I would say it was a long drive for a short trip. Tour operator is very professional.

unique geography & 100% satisfaction! - I picked the Candy Mountains half-day trip since I have never been to this unique geography. I tried to find a half-day trip but it was not easy since other tours take almost all day, stopping by places I was not interested in. I wanted to spend some time taking good photos with a unique background nature. So I had to go on this tour. Eltaj is so professional and I can see how much he tries to deliver what the tourists want. I told Eltaj that I wanted to get good photos at Candy Mt. He also arranged a tour guide who acted as my photographer as well. Gunay is an excellent guide. She took great photos for me and she answered all the questions that I asked about Azerbaijan. I had such a great time with her. I gave a 5-star review but it is not good enough to express my satisfaction. Eltaj and Gunay are very professional and friendly. I strongly recommend this tour and of course, I trust Baku Tours, so all other tour programs must be as great as what I took.

Amazing half-day tour with a easy hike! - One of the most beautiful places in Azerbaijan and absolutly recommended. Thanks for the tour organized by BakuExplorer, I was able to visit this place without any hassel. The communication was great and the driver was very kind and helpful. I had a great time during the tour and I'd recommend to other tourists who'd like to visit this beautiful place!

Pink world ! - Spectacular place , instagram bloggers most welcome to show a pink world ! Beautiful trekking on pink mountains with breathtaking views ! Must be fit and in good conditions cause there is no a way you need to find your own way to climb .i would spend there hours it’s just so beautiful!

Worth a visit for sure - A great half day tour from Baku. Takes about 1.5 hours drive each way. The mountains are definitely unique and worth visiting. However please note in winter weather, take the appropriate footwear or tie plastic bags around your shoes as the clay will stick to your shoes very quickly and it’s a pain to clean there and then. Our driver didn’t speak much English but was very helpful and polite never the less.

Enjoyed - Nice guide, quick and efficient tour. Let me spend time in the mountains and took some pics for me as well. Although he did not speak English it didn’t matter, I enjoyed the experience

Beautiful Candy Cane mountains, efficient private tour. - It was an efficient private tour, which lasted 3h30 as advertised (3 hours of driving both ways and 30 minutes to visit the place). The driver came on time and even though he didn't speak English he made me feel very comfortable. Candy Cane mountains are so beautiful, I had great time taking photos and experience the beauty of the place. I liked that there were several options for departure time (9am, 10am and 12pm) so I could take it a bit easier after days of long day trips. Probably it was a bit too expensive considering that it was a short tour without a guide, I had booked full day private tours for locations much further away, and with a driver/guide, which were cheaper.

Quick worthwhile tour - Quick and simple tour. Driver was great, and helpful. This tour is great if you want a short trip out of city and the candy mountains and worth a visit.

Glad I saw the hills but having an English speaking guide/drive would have helped - As others have said, it’s a long drive for a short visit but I did enjoy seeing the pink and white hills and climbing one of them. The driver was very nice but not having someone who I could communicate with made it difficult for me to understand the plan. I had read one review that said there were 4 sites visited so at the first stop I only climbed about halfway up. The second stop wasn’t as easy to get close to so I took some photos and got back in the car. When he turned the car to head back I asked about other stops (and it did look like there was more to see down the road), but he said we were done. We were back to the hotel more than 20 minutes early. Clearly good luck with traffic was a factor but I do think that not having an English speaker with me was a detriment because I had been trying not to take too much time at each stop out of respect for the time limitations. If I had understood that those would be the only stops I would have taken more time at each one.
