Engage with a local producer at a honey shop conveniently located in the heart of Bratislava, just a short walk from the Opera House. All mead and honey are sourced from a small, family-owned beekeeping and mead factory in Dolna Krupa, near the city of Trnava, approximately 60 km from Bratislava. The shopkeeper will lead you through a brief tasting session of mead and honey. You will sample four varieties of exquisite local honey: Creamed honey, honey with bee pollen, honey with propolis, and honey with cinnamon. Following the honey tasting, enjoy two samples of the unique Slovakian Trnava Mead, an alcoholic beverage with an alcohol content of about 10-14%. Mead is a beloved drink in Slovakia, crafted from selected types of Slovak flower honey. At the conclusion of the tasting, you will receive a stylish honey souvenir pack that includes:
