Skagway Waterfall Tour - I arranged this tour through Shore Excursions Group, and I was very happy with the tour. Not even offered through the cruise line, (although you can save $$$ by booking yourself). Had my e-ticket ready from the pickup location in Skagway (the popcorn shop). Bus driver was amazing and full of knowledge about Skagway and the gold rush days. He indicated that we would be following the same route the White Pass Tain takes, except we would be using the roads instead of the rails. First stop Bridal Veil Falls, beautiful waterfall right off the road. We were there for about 20-30 minutes. We then made several stops one of which was a view of a waterfall flowing under the White Pass train tracks. The next stop was a view of the Saw Tooth Maintain range, amazing views! Next, we began our assent to the White Pass summit (2,865 feet) crossing the Canadian border. Boarded the bus in Skagway 52 degrees, air temp with wind chill at summit 26 degrees! Back on the very warm bus for our decent back to Skagway. No need to check with customs at the checkpoint. Made a stop at a lookout point with a great view of Skagway and the surrounding mountains. Last stop, Lower Reid falls. To reach Lower Reid falls, you have to go through the Gold Rush Cemetary. It's a short walk to the falls from there, but the trail was somewhat crowded as other people walked or drove from town to the falls. The falls were amazing, and I did get the pictures I wanted, but had to get almost in the water because of the crowd on the trail. I highly recommend this tour!!
