• Cave of Apocalypse - Our journey begins with a visit to the Grotto of St. John, the birthplace of the Book of Revelation. In 95 AD, amidst Christian persecution, St. John sought refuge on Patmos, where he heard the voice of God, foresaw the future, and wrote the Revelation.

• Monastery of St. John - Navigate through a maze of atmospheric lanes leading to the Monastery of St. John the Theologian, established in the 11th century. Here, you can experience monastic life and delve into history through the museum’s magnificent ecclesiastical artifacts. The Monastery’s treasures include frescoes of founder Christodoulos, miracles of St. John, ancient documents from the 6th century, vestments, silverware, and numerous icons, including a piece attributed to El Greco.

• Chora Patmos - From the Monastery, wander through the winding cobbled streets of Chora. Explore the streets of Patmos, where 16th-century houses are connected by a labyrinth of steps and lanes, interspersed with small squares, snow-white chapels, and flower-filled courtyards.

• Windmills of Patmos - Capture memories at the Chora windmills, dating back to 1588. Situated atop a hill with sea views, these windmills, known as Mili, are a gem of the island, celebrated by Europa Nostra.

• Grikos Beach - Pass by Grikos Bay to admire its pristine natural beauty. Continue to the Bay of Lambi, where colorful beach stones make for a charming keepsake. Visit “Paralia Kampos,” one of Patmos’s most stunning beaches.
