Vergina and Pella Museums - I am interested in the ancient Macedonian civilization and while I was in Skopje, I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to book a trip to Greece. And it was really something. The tomb of Phillip the Second of Macedon is definitely one of the world wonders. It was spectacular. The next we visited was Pella, the birthplace of Alexander the Great. The museum and the archaeological site were equally amazing. Toni the driver, and Peter the guide were an excellent team. Good sites, but bad experience! - The museums were incredible, definitely worth a visit. However, our tour guide/driver let the experience down. Firstly, as soon as we entered Greece, he was not able to navigate and got lost several times. Secondly, he was not a "guide" and did not tell us any information about the sites. The driver was unprofessional and left us feeling uncomfortable in the car several times.
