Amazing day trip - Great tour with a great guy called Georgi. :-) He really has a deep knowledge about the interesting facts and shared plenty of good information! He guided everything really well, we were quite happy! :-)

A Breathtaking Canyon - The excursion to Matka Canyon and Skopje from Sofia is a little bit long ( aprox 3 hours drive) but I can tell you all: IT S WORTHY!!!!! The Canyon is breathtaking and it does a boat ride aprox 20 minutes to the vrelo cave. The cave is nice but not much to see. Try the pastry and the yoghourt in one of the shops close by.
Skopje is nice , walkable and has some history. Monumental sculptures all over the city

You wanna go to Skopje? Go with Vasilin - A few days ago we had a great trip to Skopje,with Vasilin as our driver and guide. We had done a bit of YouTube research but Vasilin really brought it to life. Now I know why poor old Alexander the Great will forevermore be known just as a man on a horse.

You wanna go to Skopje? Go with Vasilin - Vasilin took us on a great trip to Skopje and Matka Canyon. We had done a bit of youtube research on the city but it was really brought to life when we were there and waking around with him. I found out why poor old Alexander the Great is now reduced to being just a man on a horse.

Excellent private guide experience - Vess, my tour guide, made for a memorable tour to Macedonia from Sofia. He ensured that my needs were made and did an excellent job of explaining how this former part of Yugoslavia seeks to become its own nation. Bring your passport, as you need it to cross the border out of the European Union. I so enjoyed my tour that I booked a second day of touring that was designed to go to the mountains outside of Sofia. He also does adventure tours. I highly enjoyed spending a day visiting another country on Bulgaria’s doorstep.

Amazing - We had an amazing day trip from Sofia to North Macedonia which included the breathtaking Matka Canyon and Skopje city center. Specially the Matka Canyon was a magical place, highly recommended. The guide is super nice, takes the time to explain all details and approachable for all questions.
