Each session begins with a visit to a local market. Immerse yourself in authentic Macedonian culture by experiencing its vibrant colors, unique flavors, and aromas. Food markets offer a wonderful introduction to Macedonian culture and lifestyle.

You might be surprised to learn that our cooking instructors are not professional chefs. Instead, they are friendly, home-grown culinary enthusiasts who love cooking for their family and friends. Most importantly, they are eager to share their passion for cooking with you.

What do you receive? A cooking session, a complete lunch, a visit to the local market, a brief lecture on Macedonian food and ingredients, a recipe booklet, and traditional snacks (meze) prepared by your hosts.

Program:

Our cooking class is offered in Kratovo, a city 90km from Skopje. Upon arrival in Kratovo, our hosts will guide you on a short market visit, after which you will prepare a meal together. While your meal is cooking, enjoy a homemade lunch. Once the meal is ready, savor your creation before taking the recipe home to impress your family and friends with your newfound Macedonian cooking skills!
