Kindly note: The Ramayana Ballet is not a daily event but typically happens every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. We suggest getting in touch with us to verify the schedule. Outdoor performances usually take place during the dry season (May to October), while the remainder of the year sees indoor performances.
- Special Note : Ramayana Ballet Show does not available everyday. Normally it will be held every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Kindly please to contact us first to confirm the availability. The open air or outdoor show only available in dry season from Mei to October, the rest will be held indoor.

An unforgettable experience - This was a fabulous tour with our guide Wahyu ensuring that we knew exactly where we needed to be when. He certainly looked after us and we had an amazing trip to Prambanan with the most stunning sunset, an excellent buffet dinner and then great seats to the Ramayana ballet which was an unforgettable experience on its own. Would highly recommend this tour as a way to enjoy Prambanan and the ballet.

Prambulan Temple - a wonderful day - Wahyu took us for a wonderful day to Prambanan Temple, as well as to dinner and Ramayana Ballet. Wahyu has good english and confirmed the booking by WhatsApp the previous evening. He arrived at our hotel punctually.
The temple tour, conducted by a local guide was relaxed and very informative. His english was good. We were taken to Budhist and Hindu temples set in pleasant gardens. The sunset was spectacular.
We were then taken to a buffet dinner with Prambanan in the background. The food was very good.
The Ramayana Ballet is an experience not to be missed and was also spectacular. The ballet is not played every night. This also had the backdrop of the temple.
An excellent day and evening with a very good guide.

Wonderful immersion in the Indonesian culture - The temple is wonderful, especially when you escape a bit from the other tourists. Great to see the temple during the sunset with nice colours.
Great restaurant with a nice view on the temple.
Amazing show with the ballet. We loved it !
We had a private driver called Hendra who drove us to the temple, between the activities and back to our hotel after. Hendra was really really nice ! Thanks again !
We would recommend to start a bit earlier than us. We booked the activity starting from 3pm but we were picked up at that time and the visit of the temple really started at 4pm, which was a bit short to see everything and learn all the history behind it before the sunset (around 5:30pm).

Fun evening - Great evening that was made even better by the guide/driver Hendra. He is a friendly man who by day cares for his farm and family. I didn’t have to be concerned with anything. He took care of everything, bringing me to all the various locations arranging everything and always at meeting locations when done.
The guide he arranged in Prambanan (included in price) was extremely knowledgeable, having been there for over 25 years. Dinner at nearby restaurant had a fantastic view of the lit-up temples at night.
The ballet/show was enjoyable and a good seat in 4th row up in VIP section.

Fantastic wholistic experience! - This experience gives you an incredible insight to the great history of Ramayana. Wahyu, our driver for the whole trip, was always on time and very kind. He made our experience way better. We got a great guide in the Prambanan Temple, giving us prehistory of the ballet we later saw. Followed by the guide, Wahyu waited for us and drove us to the VIP dinner which was very nice. The ballet in its self was fantastic. Absolutely would recommend this experience, and we hope to see Wahyu again!

Beautiful experience! - Do not miss Prambanan and if you have time also visit the Buddhist temples on this site. The Ramayana ballet was a special treat. I am so happy that I added that onto the trip. It’s an incredible performance in a spectacular location!
My driver/guide Wahyu is the best! This was my first trip to Indonesia, and Wahyu is so nice and helpful, he made everything easy.

Excellent tour. Well organised. - Excellent guidance of the tour. Picked up from hotel on time. Tour guide speaks good English and is very friendly. Good guide arranged for Prambanan tour (spoke Dutch). Nice dinner with a view of Prambanan. Then beautiful ballet with excellent seats. In short, we enjoyed it.

Great Trip with very smooth organisation! - We had an amazing time! The guides at the location were very friendly and knew a lot about the places. Our driver Eko made sure we got fast and save from one location to another, being punctual and provided us with insights of his country and the city Jogja, while being always very helpful and friendly. We would definetly recommend this tour!
