Perfect add-on to Prambanan; enriching cultural experience! - The tour was amazing! We had so much fun and got to experience local life from a local perspective. I am writing this 3 weeks after our tour due to internet connection but our guide so I’ve forgotten the name of the guides but we were guided by the stingless beekeeper and the motorbike guard that made sure we could move around seamlessly. Both were extremely kind and keen to share stories, facts, and even food! In one sentence: Don’t even think about it, just book it!

Third experience, but definitely not the last ! - Having taken the cycling tour 2 times, our family knew exactly what to expect. It would be serene villages, greenery, home industry, beautiful architecture along the route we took. But our third time taking the tour was even better. Alga changed the route, allowing us to see different parts of a rural life. This time there was even a brief gamelan workshop. Our daughter picked up the crash course so quickly, playing 2 instruments with joy & admiration. It really was an amazing experience. Now we look forward to our 4th tour. Thanks a lot, Alga. See you again in the not too distant future😊

Bicycle tour - Super fun bike ride through the landscape of eastern Yogya. Cycle along the rice fields and through the villages, with the Merapi volcano in the background. Even on a hot day like today it was doable because of the many fun stops, also for the children. A lot of attention was paid to the safety of the ride and at all stops the guide told a lot about local customs and the history of the area. In combination with the incredibly friendly staff, this is an absolute must!

Wonderful cycling tour and local cultural experience! - Loved this tour! My guide Bagus was terrific, and I enjoyed the beautiful countryside as well as the opportunity to visit a temple, learn to play gamelan, and see a few small home industries. It’s a great way to get some exercise, learn more about local life and Javanese culture, and enjoy the beautiful, quiet area just next to Prambanan temple. Great customer service, too, from start to finish!

“Good catch” as authentic tour program/activities option during in Yogyakarta - I was wondering if any bike/cycling tour for my family - 2 kids and 2 seniors (my parents), and “good catch” when finally found this one through trip advisor, Such an exciting program since the beginning.. Warm welcoming when we arrive and had seen all were set up for us - the basket bike, the “caping” (sun hat), and their baby carrier (rear seat) for my toddler boy! Then, the whole program brings educational yet fun for my 7-years-old son.. Besides visited the Plaosan temple, we’re also visited some home industries such as Emping and Tofu-making, and Klanceng Honey Bee cultivation.. The landscape during our trip was exceptional.. Walking through the rice fields and seeing all the greeneries was eye-refreshment. Thankyou to Mr. Bagus who guided us through this trip.. love the way he transfer his knowledge to us.. Thankyou for making our first-time bike tour become great experience & good memories.. Gladly will recommend this program to others!

Do either of the earlier daily tours. - There are 3 tours daily. I was in the last tour of the day - 3 PM start. The itinerary was to include stops at for stingless honey bees, a traditional Indonesian nut snack and a tofu making operation. Because of the late start (the other guest came late), the nut snack operation had already closed, and the tofu making operation were closing with only the very last stage of the operation being seen. The stingless honey bees were interesting, and so was the roadside stop at Plaosan Temple; but overall, I feel shorted. I recommend that you take either of the 2 earlier daily hours and not the 3 PM one
