Perfect family excursion - Looking for an ideal day trip with the whole family in Malta? Luzzu Cruises offers various cruises to Gozo and Comino. We opted for the Comino Day Cruise. At 10am we leave Sliema towards Gozo. In Gozo the passengers who visit this island leave the boat. The perfect moment to take some pictures of Mgarr. Then it goes to the Blue Lagoon on Comino for a stopover of about four hours. Ideal for a walk, a dip in the fresh water and a fruit cocktail at one of the food trucks. If the sea is a bit too rough we will go to Crystal Lagoon right next to the Blue Lagoon. The day ends with a visit to some sea caves along Comino and then around 5pm we moor back in Sliema. The Comino Day Cruise is a perfect day out to discover the different islands from the water. Highly recommended!

Great day and great value - Was a brilliant day out! Really good value at €30 For a whole day. The ride out was a bit rough due to the weather (but the crew did let us know this would be the case before boarding) and we made the most of this by challenging each other to see who could stay standing without holding on the longest! The scenery was beautiful, the water slide was great fun and the staff on-board were fantastic! The food on-board was fairly limited but, if you take a snack and the wait to get more food on comino, there is plenty of choice. Comino was very crowded at the blue lagoon, but still beautiful. And the ride back as the sun set was stunning!

Great day trip from Sliema - Luzzo is a great company and having the boat as a home base for the day was great - access to clean bathroom, snacks and a shady place to sit. Lovely day in the Crystal and Blue Lagoons; friendly crew

Staff Provided Excellent Service - The staff on board were really helpful and went out of their way to provide service. The snack options were limited other than beverages. The captain provided continuous updates and pointed out points of interest on the way and back.

If you love getting in the water, this one is definitely for you - For those that absolutely love swimming, this is the one for you. If you book the Comino only tour (not including the stop at Gozo), then there’s an opportunity for you to swim at the Crystal lagoon/St. Nicholas bay for about 45 minutes before the 3 hours stop at the Blue Lagoon. At the Blue Lagoon, I highly recommend doing the boat tour to the Comino caves for 15 EUROS (per person). Yes, the cruise ship will stop there before leaving Comino Island, but because the boats are much smaller, you can go further into the caves and take pictures from the angles that the cruise ship won’t be able to offer you. Plus (and I’m assuming all the boat drivers do this), you will have a really fun time speeding on the boat and rocking from side to side – at least I found it really fun. There isn’t really much of a beach at Blue Lagoon – it literally is a small piece of sandy land which gets packed quickly, and I visited it in November, so definitely good luck finding a spot if you’re visiting during the peak seasons. Most likely, you will have to find a spot on the cliffs. In my opinion, it is better to pay 5 EUROS (per person) and go across the water to Cominotto. If you choose to hike the cliffs, definitely bring your good walking / hiking shoes as they are very slippery. All in all, you will have a great time, if the weather is right. I felt completely safe on the cruise ship and there is hot / cold food and drinks to purchase.

Would choose a smaller boat with fewer guests, but the stops were great. - Large boat with room for many, where it then became a bit chaotic when you were going to swim. Kø in sklia, queue at the swimming ladder up and down. Would have chosen a catamaran with less people if I had taken the ride again. Nice stops, but it seems like all boats stop at the same places. The best was Blue Lagoon, and yes, it's crowded here. The boat added a little away from the crowd, and right next to there there was a nice place to rent sun loungers and umbrellas. Maybe Max 50 pcs on site. Moving us away towards the food carriages and where “all” others were for a look, and there was herring in the barrel. You get a nice day in Blue Lagun if you pull away from the crowd. Nice, crystal clear water.

Missing Description/Information - This tickets give you the following service. 1.5 hour boat ride to the Camino Island 1.5 hour boat ride back to Sliema If you don’t understand what’s the tour about, they’re not going to give you any information. There’s one stop at Gozo Island, where who got the other ticket including a sightseeing tour in Gozo Island will get dropped off. The boat then, will drop you in the Camino Island. As it was middle of January, winter season the island is desert. No toilets, no food, no drinking water available. If you don’t have anything with you, be ready for 4 hours under the sun, as there. It a single three around. The Blue Lagoon, if you don’t have any information you won’t see it at all. It’s a part of the sea, surrounded by small formation of lands where the weaves get weaker. There’s no beach. The only one I found, on the other side of the island had its access blocked as it’s a private land. An abandon hotel. Get ready for a cold, very slow bumpy ride on open sea. I advise anyone to get some seasick tablets with you. On the way back I felt luck not being able to eat or drink in the island of Camino. Ps,; It worth it. One of the most beautiful places I’ve been. But get your self ready, with plenty of water, sunscreen and a hat. Maybe a raining coat if there’s any possibility of raining.
