Super bike day in Bled, Bohinj and Triglav - Greenhills was awesome. Jernej took us on a route we could never have seen by ourselves. Terrific sights and nice lunch at a mountain hut. Great itinerary, great bikes. Pick up/drop off in Ljubljana. Would recommend!

Unforgettable Slovenia bike tour with exceptional guides. - From June 20 to June 27, 2023, I had the opportunity to embark on an unforgettable bike tour organized by Greenhills-Bike. Jerney and Ursa, the tour guides were absolutely fantastic, providing exceptional service and creating a warm and friendly atmosphere throughout the journey. Their expertise, enthusiasm, and genuine care for our experience made the tour truly memorable. It was evident that they went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time. In summary, joining this tour guarantees not only breathtaking landscapes and thrilling cycling routes but also a great connection with the tour guides, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for bike-tour lovers. George Raphael, Israel

Great trails even better guide! - Thank you so much for helping us out so last minute! When our plans for our last day of our holiday were cancelled last minute we contacted Jernej. He didn’t hesitate to help us out and made it a banger of a last day! With no time to prepare he guided us through his local trails and showed us the tip of the iceberg of what this region has to offer. His passion and love for the region got us excited right away! Little stops with local facts and him inviting us home for a beer after the trip made the day perfect! We will definitely be back!

Best MTB ride in the Julian Alps - What a great way to see the alps an the mountains from up close. The guide was great, very friendly and kind. We were always treated the best way possible. You’ll be in the mountains and pastures, get to see some animals. After you finish the tour you get to eat some proper local food in a local mountain wooden lodge restaurant and then he takes to see both the Bled Lake and Bohinij Lake and have some very local treat. Definitely recommend it, you can still get back to Ljubljana for late afternoon drinks and dinner. P.S: He will pick you up and drop you at your place of accommodation which is great.

Great ride in Pokuljuka - We had an excellent time. Our guide was so flexible - catering to our needs and cycle capabilities perfectly. We enjoyed seeing Slovenia through the eyes of a local. We wouldn't have been able to explore the Julian Alps by ourselves. The biggest highlight was sharing cheese, sour milk and bread with a shepherd. The e bikes were terrific. We highly recommend this company and we will use them again when our travels take us this way.

Amazing landscapes, best guide you could wish for! - We did two guided tours. Both were great in its own way. The guide perfectly felt what we liked. Trips were really good, we fell in love with Slovenia, and will for sure come back. If you like biking, and nature: don’t look for anything better! Greenhills!

There’s something about that feeling on the bike... - What a great day!Would definitely recommend to book with Greenhills. We have decided to book with them just last minute. We choose Pokljuka tour as it combines visit of lake Bled and Bohinj with a bike tour. Our guide Jerca picked us up in front of our hotel in Ljubljana at 10:00 in the morning. Than we headed towards Bled and after 40 min drive we were already drinking our morning coffee in Vila Preseren with marvellous view over lake Bled. Great way to start a day! After 20 min drive we have parked in Pokljuka. What I noticed first was fresh air and a lot of green... woods all around us! Jerca set up the bikes and we were ready to go. Our tour took us through the woods on a dirt road. As we used ebikes it was really easy and we could enjoy the nature even more. Highlight of the tour is definitely gorgeous view over the wooden huts. We stoped there and also managed to taste some local cheese. We were actually lucky as the hut is not always open. After the tour we packed our bikes and just half an hour later we were already swimming in a fresh water of Bohinj Lake! I liked Bohinj much more than Bled. Jerca was very friendly and she give us some nice insights and hints what else to do in Slovenia. We would definitely recommend to book an bike tour with Greenhills. We are actually thinking to book another multi day bike tour with them next year.

Beautiful Mountains, Great Bikes - We were met at our hotel by our guide right on time. Fortunately, my wife were the only 2 riding, so it actually ended up being a private ride. From Ljublijana, we rode up near Bled (about one hour with traffic) and parked near a small Sports Hotel on a gravel road. The ride was essentially a gravel loop of 18 miles with probably 1600 feet of climb. The only downside was the weather, which prevented distant views, but no fault of our guide, of course. The route meanders around little mountain huts used to house farmers and cows in the winter before they take them down out of the mountains for the winter. The cows had bells, which resulted in a nice, serene experience. We stopped at a small house/hut with great mountain views, where we were served the most authentic Slovenian meal of our entire trip ( $6 meal not included in price), consisting of sausage, homemade cheese, pork fat, and fruit tea. The only downside of the cycling route was that we passed frequent logging operations, which distracted from the serenity a bit. I would do this trip again, but with clearer skies and better distant views! The bikes were great (e-mountain bikes). I prefer a regular bike, but my wife prefers an e-bike, so I did it too. I do not know if a regular mountain bike is an option or not.
