Highlights
  • Nausori Highlands - Begin your hiking adventure with pickup at your hotel in Nadi and a scenic ride. As you drive, listen to your guides talk about the ‘off-the-beaten-path’ areas of Fiji, through which you’ll begin to understand more about daily life in this island nation. Sights include sugar cane farms, beaches, and the village settlements. Some exciting off-road driving is in store as well. The drive takes about an hour total, and your guides will stop at a local supermarket in case you want to buy snacks and water.

Hit the trail head and head off through the forest, looking out for plants used in traditional island medicine and other species that are highly poisonous. Your turnaround point is a waterfall, where you’re welcome to take a dip and cool off.

Arrive back at the home of your village guide and enjoy a refreshing lemon grass tea before heading back to your hotel.

At the conclusion of your activity, you’ll be dropped off back at your hotel in Nadi.

3pm pick up will have travelers experience a sunset moment at the peak and a night star gazing walk on the way back. Head lamps are provided for use during the walk and finish off with a lemon grass tea.

Snacks and water included.

The best tour Fiji has to offer - Such an incredible experience. My guides were so kind and personable. They took me to the most beautiful hike spots in Fiji and we finished off the trip with an authentic Fijian vegetarian meal. If you’re in Fiji, you need to book this tour. I’ll remember it for a lifetime

Amazing experience in a secret place - The experience was awesome ! Ray is really nice and he brought us to a wonderful hidden place in the middle of the mountains, amazing views on the valley, the mountains around and on Nadi Bay. I went for an afternoon hike and we saw an in incredible sunset, definitely recommend it ! We also met locals in the small village of Naurosi, it was a real authentic experience, and Pita, our guide for the hike which takes place on his land invited us for a lemongrass tea and Fijian pancakes in his farm house. If you ever go to Nadi and want to experience something more authentic and original, just go for it !

Great adventure in a secret paradise - I loved this adventure ! Surely one of the highlights of my trip in Fiji ! Ray is really nice and brought me to a wonderful secret place in the mountains, to meet locals in a small village, to see wonderful views and sunset. I needed something different than going to the beach and it was just perfect !

Visiting a local place is... - Visiting a local place is not so easy as we think. Thanks to them, we had a chance to see a beautiful and uncontaminated area surrounded by thousands of plants, trees and few animals. The guide knows perfectly where to go even there is no pathway. At the top, the view is marvellous. We were there for the sunset. Little bit harder to come back with no proper lights but everyone can survive. Bring a jumper because it's a bit cold but must be done. Really friendly crew and worth it

Perfect combination of culture and beauty - Nausori Highlands is breathtaking. The mountains in Fiji are not marketed as well as the islands, but I highly recommend everyone to do a hike to not only see the stunning views but to also experience the Fijian culture in the local village. I was given cold water, electrolytes and bars from the tour guides. Once we got to the village in the mountains, the local guide offered fresh coffee and bread. After the hike, we got more bread and traditional lemongrass tea. The description said there was lunch included so be prepared for just snacks. I also thought we were going to see the Waterfall, but we didn't do that either (maybe because of the weather from the previous nignt). The ride up to the start of the hike is amazing. On the way down, I stood on the back of the pickup truck to take in all the views even more, plus it was a fun way to ride down! The hike itself is not strenuous. It rained the night before for my group so the trail was a bit muddy and slippery, but it was really easy for me to clean my shoes afterwards. Post hike, Ray was extremely kind to take me to my AirBnB, wait for me to get changed, then took me to a gym (currently preparing for a tournament so I couldn't take many days off training atm - but proof that the hike is very manageable as I could workout in the same day). In conclusion, really loved Nausori Highlands - pictures/videos don't do it justice. Tips: Wear leggings/light athletic pants (you walk though tall grass/plants most of the way) Wear mosquito/bug repellent Eat breakfast

Solid - Solid hike. Coming from Canada (Vancouver) where I have done a ton of hikes that are challenging I was bit nervous with the heat and humid. But this one was perfect for weather conditions and Fiji warmer weather.

Wonderful Fiji Highlands Hike. - Fantastic trip. Great truck ride up into the mountains circa 90 mins on gravel roads - beautiful views. Knowledgeable guides. Hike not too long and not too strenuous. Views from the summit are spectacular. Waterfall on way back down to village - can swim if you want. Visited local farm and had lunch and lemon tea is farmers hut - tasty. Great day out.

Get out to experience true Fiji - This was a truly wonderful experience. The guides were excellent on local information and the lifestyle of the Fijian farmers, their villages and culture. The hike is not too strenuous or too long.

Unprofessional - I was communicating with Ray till 19.06 hrs a day before the trip. At 21.00 hrs he cancells the tour and does not have the courtesy of informing me. On the day of the tour, i checked my email in the morning and there was an email from Trip Advisor that the tour had been cancelled but no communication from Ray. Totally unprofessional. I come all the way to Fiji and ended wasting a day because of this unprofessional behaviour.
