If you're looking for an unforgettable adventure in Lapland, I highly recommend the Husky Safari and Snowmobile Exp… - We recently had the opportunity to participate in a Husky Safari and Snowmobile Experience from Parpalandia organized in the breathtaking Lapland region of Finland, and it was truly an unforgettable adventure. The Husky Safari was an absolute highlight of the trip. The excitement of being pulled through the snowy landscape by a team of energetic and friendly huskies was an experience like no other. The dogs were well-trained and seemed to genuinely enjoy their work. The feeling of gliding through the pristine winter scenery, surrounded by the peacefulness of nature, was simply magical. The guides were knowledgeable and passionate about their work, and they provided us with all the necessary instructions and safety precautions before we embarked on our journey. After the Husky Safari, we had the chance to try our hand at snowmobiling. This was an exhilarating and thrilling experience, as we zoomed through the snowy trails and forests. The snowmobiles were easy to operate, and the guides ensured that we felt comfortable and safe throughout the ride. The scenery was absolutely stunning, with snow-covered trees and vast open spaces stretching as far as the eye could see. The combination of the Husky Safari and Snowmobile Experience allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of Lapland. It was an adventure that satisfied both our desire for adrenaline and our longing to connect with nature. The overall organization of the experience was top-notch. The equipment provided was in excellent condition, and the guides were professional and friendly. They were always available to answer questions and make sure that everyone was having a great time.

Great time in the forest - Very nice walk in a small group in the forest. The welcome is warm and authentic. The huskies are in great shape and well cared for. We highly recommend.

The best monitors - Totally recommended, the landscapes are spectacular, it is not overcrowded, we went with children, the monitors were super nice and very patient and friendly. It is worth the 50 minute drive from Rovaniemi Super happy😁

Great fun for all the family! - This activity was the highlight of our trip to Rovaniemi! From pick-up at our hotel reception to the activities at Papalandia, everything was extremely well organised and handled with the utmost safety. All clothing and gear were provided. The husky safari was such a unique experience, and my three teens loved being able to spend some time with the huskies after the ride. The snowmobiling was quite different but also brilliant, really exhilarating! We all had a blast, and the team at Parpalandia could not have done more to make the day special for us. They were professional but also very friendly, helpful and patient. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and I can give Parpalandia my highest recommendation. Worth every penny!

Magical and wonderful experience! - Magical stay and breathtaking tours at Parpalandia. Very friendly staff and perfect gear for the cold weather. All flexible and well-priced. Our private group of twelve had a wonderful stay at Parpalandia! Thanks Ismo and team!!

Highlight of our trip! - This is a must do; we had so much fun! To start, we were picked up from our hotel and driven to the site. This company has all the gear you need and a warm, spacious room to get dressed in. After Jake's instructions on how to steer the sled, I decided not to drive at first, but Cherry and Lizbeth are very good at guiding and teaching. Cherry's detailed instructions and smooth manuvering while she was driving the sled first, encouraged me to give it a try. There were plenty of opportunities to take pictures. The dogs are well taken care of before, during and after the ride. And each of the dogs personalities was well described. Afterwards, we hung out in the warm Kota, ate sausage and drank hot juice while Lizbeth answered all of our questions. I was so proud to see 2 young women leading this safari! Thereafter, we topped it off with snowmobiling. Our guide was kind and he made sure we were safe, and he gave us some freedom once we were comfortable driving. This was the highlight of our trip in Finland! Keep up the good work Parpalandia!!!

Well worth the ride out of town! - We were 2 couples looking for an experience away from the big groups often witnessed in town. Following a phone call and a nice chat with Kati explaining what we had in mind, we made our booking for a 2 hour private Snow Mobile Safari and an hours small group husky driving. The weather conditions were not favourable on our chosen day and on the day before I got a call to say our activities were cancelled☹️Quite simply it was not safe for customers, dogs or snow mobiles as it was + 3c and raining which we were told was most unusual for this time of year. The temps dropped and there was a dusting of snow which prompted a call from Kati the day before we were flying home. She offered us the chance to do our activities on the day we were flying home, with a late flight we took up the offer😁 The drive from town took around an hour and was easy to find, heading south towards Kemi on the 75, turn right at the sign for “Pisa” and after about 9km look for the sign “Parpalandia”. Both experiences delivered what we had hoped for and in between we were offered hot juice, Finnish sausages and cookies by the fire in the “Kota” which was a lovely touch. We got to meet the owner “Ismo” who was quite a character and showed us around the accommodation he has there. Thanks to our guide who’s name was something like Thermo and also Nora who was happy to answer our many question's about the lovely dogs.

Not great - Messaged the company prior and they told us our pick up time. No-one came. The sales guy who was lovely had to come and get us to drive us part way to the trip. If you’re looking for classic huskies - this isn’t the place for you. The people there were lovely but it wasn’t worth the stress and wish we would have used a previous company.
