Best day ever - This was the most fabulous 2 days of my trip to Costa Rica 🇨🇷. The guys who run this amazing place are so lovely and friendly. The horses are beautiful, well cared for and loved with a passion by the owner and her lovely helpers . They speak Spanish, English and French fluently. My horse was a delight to ride and behaved beautifully at all times . The gallops on the beach were fun and exhilarating for a fairly cautious rider like myself!!! I particularly recommend taking the longer(5hour) tour with lunch and swim . I loved it ! All in all the whole experience was fun and inspiring. Thank you Melissa, Alison and the whole crew for making me feel so welcome ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

A memorable day - We loved our experience on horseback, and the dinner was just delicious. Our guide, Solen, who spoke French, was a real asset to us. He answered with great precision all our questions, whether it was vegetation or local culture. A particularly memorable moment was when my spouse was able to swim with Balou in the river – a nice touch that added even more charm to this walk.

Amazing - Our family had an unforgettable day with Horse Jungle in Playa Samara, Costa Rica. The experience was truly amazing, and every member of our family enjoyed it thoroughly. Our guide, Jorge, was exceptional—knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive to everyone’s needs. The journey through the jungle, river, and beach was breathtaking, offering us the chance to observe local wildlife and learn about Costa Rican flora and fauna. The horses were well-cared-for and suitable for all experience levels, making the adventure both safe and enjoyable. This experience was worth every dollar, and we highly recommend Horse Jungle to anyone visiting the area.

Beautiful ride, beach was disappointing. - Bit of a mixed review. The good: - Horses were healthy and well-fed - Our guide was friendly and good at spotting wildlife, such as a baby croc lazing by a stream - The terrain we rode through was beautiful, with lush foliage and large trees - The lunch was good, a hot Tico-style meal The not-so-good: - As an experienced rider I requested a horse with a bit of pep, but I didn't get one. They had 2 other groups out at the same time, so it may have been a supply issue. - Barigona beach was disappointing. The area around the mouth of the river was strewn with plastic debris and other litter. And as far as being remote/deserted, well, not on December 26! The parking lot was full. Lots of extended Tico families, and their dogs, were enjoying the holiday.
