Amazing!! - Wow!! What an amazing experience, Martine was our guide for the sunset tour and took fantastic care of us. I had little experience with horses but she made me and everyone else feel safe. We even galloped on the beach!! Martine took photos of us throughout the tour as well. I can’t recommend this tour enough book now!!

Horses in Costa Rica, what's not to love!? - Great experience riding horses through the Jungle and on the beach. Our guide Chris was friendly and very helpful. He made sure to point out monkeys and other native plantlife along the way. This was one of my favorite things we did in Costa Rica. Would recommend this to anyone who enjoys riding horses!

Loved it... Well recommended! - Great experience!!! The ride up the mountain was worth it, beautiful view. Our guide Francisco was very nice, his explanation for how to control the horse was clear and easy to understand. We were at ease pretty quickly on Coco and Mariachi. He also answered all our questions and gave us a lot of informations about the forest and surrounding which was very interesting and he made us feel welcomed. The galloping on the beach was a first for me and an incredible feeling even if it started raining it didn't matter. We would do it all over again in a heartbeat ❤️

unforgettable once in a lifetime experience! - you will absolutely not regret booking this excursion!!!! the experience genuinely deserves every positive review! our tour guide fransisco made the experience unforgettable. he taught us all the basics of riding, and was so patient with answering any questions we had. he has so much amazing knowledge about the forest and gave us so much information throughout the horse ride. it was genuinely super beautiful, from the wildlife to the diverse plants to the gorgeous beach. we also got to gallop across the beach and that experience is truly unforgettable. francisco made the effort to make a connection with each of us and we all felt so welcome. at the end of the trip we said we wished we saw monkeys and as we were leaving our guide went out of his way to find us monkeys and pointed them out to us!!! it was so so sweet and fun and something none of us will ever forget. Amazing experience! Great views and great fun! - What a fun and memorable experience! We were Mom, Dad, 6yo and 4yo. Both kiddos had their own horses and our guide was so great at making sure they were safe and having fun. The mountain trails were a little precarious but that only made it more fun. The open beach was amazing and we even enjoyed the short and crazy downpour. Excellent time had by all!

Family horseback riding - We had an absolutely amazing experience with Explore Samara Tours while staying in Samara! The guide was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. What stood out the most was how family-friendly the experience was—our two daughters, ages 4 and 6, had the time of their lives! The staff was exceptionally patient and great with kids, ensuring that our little ones felt safe and confident on their horses. It was such a joy to see them smiling and enjoying the beautiful scenery as we rode through the stunning landscapes.
This was definitely a highlight of our trip and always the first thing our girls talk about when asked about our trip to Costa Rica!

MUST DO - OMG what an amazing and beautiful morning with the most magical horses. Our guides were INCREDIBLE and super funny. They made us feel safe and comfy. The views were one of a kind, and I will never ever forget galloping on the beach. Cannot recommend enough!
