Fantastic experience with Sexy SMILE! - Smile was the superlative share of the experience! She probably made everything more special and fun! It was a rainy day, and coming here was great. We had so much fun and learned new things and ate great. Products of the highest quality and the farm is beautiful. A fantastic organization. Although we are not a pair of cooks eating Thai makes us want to have fun in the kitchen. Thank you! SMILE. You are fantastic ❣️

Fun Thai food immersion - Nina was a wonderful instructor! Hotel pickup was seamless and we enjoyed getting to stop at the local market en route to the school. It is roughly a 45 min drive from the old city of Chiang Mai to the farm. I would recommend wearing lightweight clothing, as the school is under a covered, open-air structure with a few fans. You will be placed in a group of roughly 6-12 individuals - we enjoyed making new friends. All of the food we made was absolutely delicious!! You have the option to take away anything you do not finish. We really appreciated learning about traditional Thai dishes, as well as the spices and herbs that create the unique flavors. Highly recommend!

Great activity - few minor niggles - Pick up from hotel was easy and on time. We ended up waiting in the van for somebody who did not show up (not the fault of the tour provider). The market area was extremely hot as it was under a tin roof. If you go in April I would recommend staying in the van as the heat made me feel unwell. I don't know how the local people work in that heat! When we arrived at the cooking location we were caught off-guard when our guide got the group to make the spring roll filling without any of us washing our hands. After this we were asked to wash our hands between eating and cooking. I think the first time was done in error (possibly because we were running late after the situation with the person who didn't turn up). Other than this small issue everything else was great. The cooking area was hot when we visited in April but they did provide cold water and had fans to help cool the area. Toilets were available on site but the bins became quite full by the end of the night as there were lots of groups cooking. Transport back to the hotel after the event was good.

Next time I would rather try another one - It has been a good experience, but I felt to be in an assembly line (we were four group at the same time). Very organized and not a lot of soul. Last but not least our "tescher" was very fast in explaining and was not very keen to answer questions.
