A must see if holidaying in the area. - We had such a good day on this tour. It's definitely worth doing if you're in Port Douglas or Cairns areas. The hotel pick up and drop off is included, which is great. Chris was our tour guide for the day. He was great, very friendly, knowledgeable and made everyone feel welcome, ensured we had the right tickets and were in the right spot for each part of the tour. We took the Scenic Railway up to Kuranda, had lunch at Sprout Cafe (recommend going here for a healthier lunch option) and then had time to wander around the shops and markets before Chris drove us back down to the Sky Rail station. The scenery going up on the railway and then over the rainforest canopy was just amazing ! Chris was then waiting for us at the gift shop ready to take us back to Port Douglas via a quick drink at Palm Cove and then some tour bus karaoke for the remainder of the trip back. The only suggestion I would make is to perhaps not stop at Palm Cove or at least check if the group wants to. By that time of the afternoon, everyone in our group was fairly exhausted from the sightseeing during the day and keen to get back to Port Douglas, rather than adding an extra hour to the trip back.

Great Day - We had a wonderful time. Great way to spend the day. Glenn was our guide he was on time, friendly, professional, and had some fun stories to tell. Group size of about 16. Glad we went on this tour instead of doing it ourselves, much easier with Glenn driving and showing us around. We upgraded to the lounge chairs on the train with the snacks, and the glass bottom on the skyrail. We felt it was worth it. We really enjoyed this tour.

Variety of fun ways to see Kuranda - Chris was a fun guide who was somewhat laid back but made certain to keep us on track. Views were somewhat obscured due to weather, but we still had the full experience. Skyrail stops were great for getting in a bit of walking and loved the beautiful waterfalls. Could have used more time in Kuranda. So much to see there! Train had trouble starting so we were delayed 30 minutes. It was a just okay part of today’s journey and not as interesting as I thought it might be. Might have enjoyed it more if I hadn’t been assigned to a backward facing seat… Overall an interesting day with good experiences.

In good hands with Brett! - Great adventure that was made incredibly easy by Brett picking us up and dropping us off right in front of our hotel. The railway and the skyway were the perfect combo and both had incredible views of the falls and surrounding scenery. Brett was a knowledgeable, friendly tour guide who was happy to answer any questions our small group had. The only feedback I would share is to not waste too much time at a restaurant in Kuranda as we ran out of time to really shop! Would definitely recommend.

Ticks off some key tour spots in one day without the hassle and with some insider knowledge - It was a great day. It was my second time in the area after a 20 year gap and my husband had never been. We generally don’t do day tours so we weren’t sure how we’d enjoy it but it was great! Good mix of activities with a little bit of downtime in Kuranda. It was a small minibus tour. Chris our driver kept us informed and entertained and gave us a good run down of the format for the day. Hartley’s was good and let us see crocs up close and in action but the other demonstrations were also very informative and entertaining. We downloaded the app for the cable car which was useful to provide a bit more background on what you were seeing. We also upgraded to gold class for the scenic train which we felt was worth it as there were only two of us and made it feel that bit special. We got back at 7pm so it definitely was a full day and took the hassle out of the sightseeing and we could just relax and enjoy it.

Great Day Trip! - Booked this day trip for our last day in Port Douglas. Chris was an informative and funny driver. Great view from the sky rail. Unfortunately the scenic Train had broken down and we were not able to complete this part of the trip. We all rode the bus back down with Chris making us laugh with his stories, as this was completley out of their control. Kuranda has the best chocolate shop and we had lunch at the Crepe Restaurant. Amazing! huge and delious menu with plenty of choices. We also received a refund for the train price before we had even returned to Port Douglas. Would recommend for anyone wanting to do this without the hassle of driving yourself.
