It is unclear if the name comes from its bitter flavor or the ancient Greeks who settled in Lumbarda in the 4th and 3rd centuries BC, bringing their own wine variety. Guests will have the chance to sample Grk at a local winery. The journey then continues through the island’s interior, passing through the villages of Žrnovo and Pupnat, and Pupnatska Luka, one of the island’s most stunning bays. The tour proceeds towards Čara and Smokvica, where visitors can view more vineyards. After exploring the fields, there will be an opportunity to taste Pošip and other wines at two of the most notable wineries. On the return to Korčula, the route follows the island’s northwest coast, offering several fantastic viewpoints that further showcase the island’s beauty.
