Soon we reach My Son sanctuary, we’ll walk at slow pace to visit the ancient Hindu temples, recognized by UNESCO as World Culture Heritage site in 1999. From the 4th to 13th centuries, about 70 Hindu temples were constructed by the ancient Champa kingdom of the Khmer Empire. The temple complex is located in a beautiful valley, dedicated to worshipping Shiva God & other deities. Walking among the temples, you’ll see many bomb craters, learn about Vietnam War history & its impacts.
We then drive on country roads to Thanh Ha pottery village, sit down with local artisans, learn to make clay products. We then say goodbye at Hoi An old quarter so you can explore the ancient town on your own.
