8.45 a.m: We’ll embark on a motorbike journey to Duong Lam, visiting the ancient village to discover the oldest residences.
10 a.m: Take part in a bicycle tour to the Ngo Quyen Mausoleum, paying tribute to a renowned Vietnamese king, and enjoy the surrounding countryside and paddy fields.
11 a.m: Return to the village after the bike ride, visit some historic homes, and witness the most iconic and oldest communal house in Mong Phu village. We’ll then drive to the Sugar Cane Pagoda, noted for having the highest number of statues in Vietnam.
12 p.m: Lunch will be served with local delicacies at an ancient house, followed by relaxation at the restaurant.
13:30 p.m: Our exploration continues with a visit to Thay Pagoda, one of Vietnam’s ancient pagodas.
15 p.m: We’ll tour the Van Phuc silk village to learn about the traditional methods of crafting silk long dresses and silk screens.
17 p.m: We’ll proceed to the old quarter, enjoy egg coffee, and dine at a restaurant. Afterwards, we’ll return to your hotel in Hanoi.

Duong Lam is 35 km2 from Hanoi. Duong Lam is a commune of Son Tay town, Hanoi, Vietnam. Duong Lam becomes the first ancient village in Vietnam. Two of Vietnam’s kings, Phung Hung (761-802) and Ngo Quyen (896-944) were born in Duong Lam, giving the village its prestige. Both men led resistance wars against northern invasion and after winning national independence, were crowned kings. After their deaths, the local people built them.
