Wonderful Tour, Awesome Guide! - The Snaefellsness Peninsula is one of the most beautiful places I have been, perhaps even more in the winter because of the golden light from the low sun. Leroy was an awesome guide, enthusiastic and engaging throughout what for him was a very long day. The tour is timed perfectly for winter - driving out of Reykjavik in the dark, seeing the sights in daylight, then returning in the dark. A great use of time and well worth the expense! Seeing seals at the beach was an unexpected bonus! I chose this tour over others because of the home-cooked meal at the horse farm, and it did not disappoint! Amazing fresh ingredients including lamb and fish in a beautiful setting, plus time to meet the horses. I hope to return someday and do this tour in the summer to experience the difference.

Magical winter tour with Leroy! - Absolutely fantastic tour with Leroy, the best guide in Iceland, hand-down! Wonderful to experience Snaefellsnes in Winter, though I am planning to come back in summer to see all the sights in a totally different way. Lovely late lunch at the horse farm where we received a wam welcome and delicious food. One of my favorite memories of our entire trip.

Through snow and wind only with EastWest - My third trip with EastWest. It was a real winter day full of ice and snow. But Monika, our great driver and also guide, was not deterred by this. Taff, like a truck driver, she masterfully managed this tour. Due to the snowfall, the view of colorful photos and landscapes was naturally somewhat clouded. But many black-and-white shades of grey also have their charm. You just have to see it. Monika drove very carefully, had many stories about the area and sights in store. We were able to drive to all points on the peninsula, despite the weather. The food on the horse farm rounded off the tour here. All in all a successful tour. Thank you.

Home cooked meal ! - Did my tour with Leroy and I’m so glad I did. It exceeded my expectations. His enthusiasm and passion for Iceland sharing fun facts through out the trip made it so enjoyable. The home cooked meal at the end was delicious and no better way to spend me the tour than with this homemade food. Would definitely do this again!

Beautiful! - Comfortable van, some of the most beautiful scenery I saw on my trip, and a great guide! He also accomodated when we asked for more bathroom breaks. I wished we could spend a bit longer at each site because it felt a little rushed at times BUT the tour was ~12 hours, so I understand how that would have been difficult. Maybe cutting out the last waterfalls so that more time could be spent at the rest of the more spectacular sights? Anyway, after seeing so many reviews talk about the meal of fresh fish and/or lamb, I was really disappointed that we ended up getting lasagne and fried rice. However, it did end up being really delicious nonetheless.

Fun and safe way to tour Snaefellsnes peninsula - We enjoyed our trip to Snaefellsnes with Leroy as our guide. As others have mentioned, the weather on the peninsula can be quite rough even if Reykjavik is perfectly calm. This was our experience, with the wind and snow being pretty rough at Snaefellsnes but we were able to comfortably visit and see the area. Leroy was full of fun facts about the area. Despite crazy wind we were still able to do the cliff hike and visit all the areas on the tour. Would recommend this as the roads can be a bit treacherous (and that's coming from someone comfortable driving through snow and blizzards in the northeast USA).
