A highlight of our Alaskan cruise! - We had the best time during our day with Snorkel Alaska! We went with family and friends, most of whom were not experienced snorkelers. However, Fred and his wonderful team were patient, informative, and made us all feel so safe and prepared to enjoy the day. It was so fun to see this incredible habitat in this unique way and I would go back in a heartbeat!

Amazing Excursion! - As a travel agent, I love to experience different excursions so I know what to recommend to my clients. When on a cruise in Ketchikan, my husband and son wanted to salmon fish but my daughter wanted to do something different. She chose this snorkeling adventure... we LOVED it and I would highly recommend it to all my clients who visit Ketchikan. Fred, Kurt and Joshua were all fantastic guides - they were very safety focused, enjoyed teaching and sharing about the Alaskan waters, and helpful in every step of the way! My daughter and I both said we would do this excursion again and again!

An Alaska Trip Highlight! Thanks Snorkel Alaska! - Such a cool experience! I have never seen so many starfish in my life, an I have done a lot of snorkeling. Also, you get bragging rights to say "I snorkeled in Alaska." The team was so kind and helpful. My older mother came on the trip with us and needed extra care, the team didn't hesitate to assist her and make sure she was having a great time without holding up the rest of the group. They provided the best service out of all the tours we took! As someone who is ALWAYS cold, I was very nervous about this but with the wetsuits on I stayed the perfect temperature and wasn't even slightly cold. If the water temp is holding you back from doing this, don't let it because it wont be an issue!

Great Time - We had a fantastic time. The wet suits worked perfectly! Very attentive and helpful guides. Our youngest got a little scared due to it not being the same as in the Caribbean and one guide took her back to shore to take care of her and let us finish our snorkel. Couldn't be more happy with the experience!

Be the Envy of Your Friends and See Alaskan Marine Life! - We had a great time with Snorkel Alaska! We saw lots of marine life (starfish, rockfish, sea urchins, cucumbers, crabs, jellyfish -- mostly the clear, harmless kind -- and more)! We had a prompt, warm welcome from owner Fred and drove a few minutes to their shop with Joshua. Sam and Kurt also joined us for the fun snorkel; the whole operation was smooth and first-rate! They made sure we had plenty of time at Michael's Point and kept with timelines for guests returning to cruise ships. We had a small group which made for a personalized experience, and they had coffee, tea, and hot showers, too. Be sure to buy a beanie when you're done. Definitely recommend -- it was a highlight of our vacation!

A unique adventure in Alaska - This was truly one of the most unique experiences I've ever had while traveling. I'm from the east coast, so I've done a little snorkeling in the Caribbean, and in the northern Atlantic you can't see more than 2 inches in front of you. This was incredible. The water was so clear. We swam through literally thousands of (harmless) jellyfish. We saw schools of little fish, starfish, barnacles, hermit crabs, sea cucumbers, and sea urchins. We had a group of 12 people and 3 guides, which made it a really personalized experience. The guides were so helpful and so knowledgeable, and they even dove down a few times to pick up some other sea critters for us to look at and hold. If you're worried about being cold, don't. The wetsuits keep you warm, and we very much enjoyed our time in the water. After about 45 minutes, we all started to get cold, including one of the guides, but it was a short ride back to the building, and they had hot showers and hot drinks available to us. We had such a great time with this team and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique Alaskan adventure!
