ARRIVAL DAY IN ISLAMABAD:

Islamabad International Airport - Most of the international flights arrives at Islamabad International Airport in the mornings. Your Guide will meet and greet you at the airport, then you will be transfer to the hotel. Rest of the days is free to recover from your journey. Later in the day, when everyone has arrived, we will have a group briefing about the Snow Lake – Hispar la Trek. Depending on the time available to us, there may be an option to do some sightseeing in Islamabad, A purpose-built City in 1961 as the new capital of Pakistan.

SPECTACULAR DRIVE TO SKARDU

Nanga Parbat - Today you will Drive KKH to Chilas, Isb to Chilas, 461km. 8-9 H-Drive.

You will have to option to Stay in Chilas for the night then next morning carry on drive along the Indus River to reach Skardu. Skardu is the capital of Baltistan region.

DRIVE TO ASKOLI

Karakoram Highway - Following day you will drive along the Mighty Indus, Shigar and Braldu River to the lush green Shigar Valley towards Askoli. Askoli is the last village before entering in the heart of Karakoram. We will spend our first night under the Stars in Askoli, which is high above the thundering Braldu River. Askole is a single street of wooden houses, backed by irrigated fields of corn, potatoes and groves of apricot trees.

DRIVE TO KARIMABAD

Karakoram Highway - A jeep drive for a couple of hours to Nagar village along a rather narrow track before reaching the Karakoram Highway. You will drive up the road to Karimabad where we check into a hotel and the rest of the day is free to wash up, relax and explore the town.

SIGHTSEEING THEN DRIVE TO GILGIT

Hunza Valley - Today you have the chance to explore Karimabad, it is an interesting town spectacularly situated on a hillside to the north of the road with views of the fertile valley below (due to their extensive irrigation system) and a glimpses of snowy mountains.

FLY TO ISLAMABAD

Gilgit Airport - We will hopefully take the early morning flight to Islamabad, if unable to fly then we will start the drive on KKH to Chilas (or Basham).

DRIVE TO ISLAMABAD

FLY BACK HOME-DEPARTURE DAY

Islamabad International Airport - After Breakfast you will be Transfer to Islamabad International Airport for the flight back home. We Believe that snow lake – Hispar la trek will create an amazing life long memory which will stay with you for a long time.
