Fun hang gliding experience - This Hang Gliding experience was fun. The Pilot was friendly and knowledgeable. I felt very safe during the whole experience as a first timer. The views are very beautiful while hang gliding. I had to wait about an hour after my booked time to be able to fly due to the winds not being strong enough but as soon as it was safe to fly my experience began. I recommend not having anything booked right after just in case. Your flight is videoed from front view (included in price), side view and 360 video is optional for purchase. I would recommend this company for hang gliding in Brazil.

What can I say other than... - What can I say other than this is awesome. Very good communication. The instructor helped ease my anxiety and fear of heights. Would use again.

Soaring over Rio - First time doing anything like this and was completely solo. Luis was amazing and very patient with me as I was clueless. He thoroughly explained every process and shared extra knowledge about the area and what weather conditions we needed for paragliding. The winds were backwinds at the time so Luis said we had to wait a little bit before going which was no problem. We waited maybe 30 mins between driving up the mountain and getting everything ready. Once on the mountain Luis was amazing at explaining what he wanted me to do to "launch" he pointed at the beautiful islands in the distance and told me to just walk towards them. I am terrified of climbing type heights (think ladders/high stairs etc.) and his explanation made it so simple!! I did it without any hesitation and was just floating in the air. Luis did everything and made me feel so comfortable in the air! Landing was perfect, right on the beach where it was marked. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone!!

The ultimate Rio experience. DO IT! - This is a MUST do. My pilot (Paul) was very friendly, professional and experienced. I never felt like I was in any danger. This is one of the most amazing things I've done while traveling. The entire staff makes certain that conditions are safe before there are any flights. There is no reason to fear.

I'm sure the flight is great but Luiz's customer manner is not. - My experience with Luiz was an unprofessional one. My flight was scheduled for 12pm and I was told to wait for the guide. At 12:30pm the guide, Luiz, appeared and informed me that the winds were not great so I could wait 30-40 minutes or reschedule, but tomorrow it would rain. I decided to wait. At 13:08 I messaged Luiz asking if there was an update and he came back about 5 minutes later. He said hang gliding wouldn't be an option unless I waited so I said I'd settle for paragliding. Once we got in the car on the way to the take off point, I asked whether there was an option for a discount, Luiz proceeded to explain that he couldn't control the winds. I wasn't annoyed that I couldn't do my activity of choice, I wasn't annoyed that I had waited for over an hour, I wasn't even annoyed that it took me 30 mins to have any communication to begin with. I was annoyed because Luiz proceeded to talk over me, projecting a frustration that I didn't have, being condescending and saying that he can't control the winds because, "he's not God." He then said he doesn't want to fly with me if I'm frustrated and got out of the car while I was explaining that I wasn't frustrated with the experience but the conversation was making me increasingly annoyed. He left me to return with the driver and didn't even offer me the courtesy of hearing me out while I listened to him ranting about how, "the customer is always right." After we got back to the reception, I offered Luiz the opportunity to talk and resolve the issue. As I started speaking to him he proceeded to interrupt again and patronise me. Not once did I raise my voice at him but I wish I did - he asked at one point, "do you think you are a kind person?" Even if I couldn't fly because of the winds, I wouldn't have felt that my time was wasted if he was a professional and had a polite working manner. I'm sure Luiz is fine when everything goes to plan, but he is the most odious person I have come across in my experience in Rio so far. Can never recommend.
