Enjoy an 8 to 12-minute flight, landing gently on the sands of São Conrado beach. No prior experience is needed; the pilot will provide all necessary instructions before takeoff.

Experience the breathtaking landscape of Rio de Janeiro from the sky in a tandem paragliding or hang gliding adventure. Ascend to the peak of Pedra Bonita in the Tijuca National Forest and embark on a thrilling 8 to 16 minute flight over the picturesque convergence of Rio’s urban and jungle topography. Touch down safely on the pristine Sao Conrado Pepino Beach.
- May be operated by a multi-lingual guide
- Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund.
- The hang glider or paraglider is equipped with a safety parachute and is inspected regularly according to the manufacturers standards
- Wear comfortable shoes (no flip flops, sandals, or slippery shoes)
- Do not consume alcohol prior to flight
- Eat soft foods prior to flight
- From 16 to 18 years old, a person can fly only if accompanied by parent or legal guardian
- Weight limit is 210 lbs (95 kg)

100% MUST DO EXPERIENCE IN RIO!!! - Such an amazing experience and our guide Assad Junior is so kind and makes you feel so comfortable. To jump off a cliff, it takes faith with your instructor(s) and Assad & his team gives you that courage! You do have to take the leap of faith though. It is so worth it. Once you are airborne looking over all of Rio… you feel this huge sense of peace and almost spiritual experience. Every day is a gift… gift this experience for yourself. You will thank yourself and experience less fear in Life because isn’t that is what Life is about? Eliminating our fears and enjoying a beautiful Life.

Excellent experience - From the moment of contact with Assad, everything was very clear. When I arrived I was already waiting to leave and the entire climb to the jump point was great. The directions before and during the flight were clear, not to mention the view. The landing was smooth and the attention after the flight was very good. Thank you for the excellent experience and the souvenir videos.

YOLO - You Have to Try this - This was a great experience. We were a groups of eight and all felt very safe and secure with our guides. It was an exhilarating experience and does not require a large amount of athleticism. The 360 video (extra cost) is exceptional.

Unmatched experience - Incredible! Highly recommended, professional service. I flew with Assad, he has a lot of experience. Don't forget the repellent because there are many mosquitoes.

Simply a Must Do for Rio - Excellent, Incredible, Profesional, Safe, and a ton of fun! It was my girlfriends first time doing an adventure sport like this. I had gone skydiving a couple of times. This is much smoother and calm but still plenty of adventure. Make sure you choose a traditional Asa Delta over the parapente (parachute). Highly recommend to everyone young or old.

Must do in Rio!!! - I had heard about hang gliding in Rio and it was 100x better to experience it for myself! Pilot Assad was an incredible and experienced instructor with decades of experience. I truly felt like a bird soaring around Pedra Bonita and will never forget this memorable experience!

Amazing instructor and experience! Pre-flight bureaucracy to be revised. - Assad is a really lovely instructor with so much experience, it makes you feel safe and calm at all times. It was quite busy and at times caothic on the ramp with so many people queuing to take off as it was Carnival weekend. There is also lots of bureaucracy that pilots need to comply with for safety but the minor glitch can disrupt the whole flight, the system should probably be made smoother for both pilots and students in case an error is made while filling the pre-flight forms. However as soon as we took off it was just magic, all the nerves magically disappeared. Thanks Assad for the great experience I will never forget it!
