- Praia do Moçambique - Sandboarding is akin to snowboarding, often referred to as Sand Surf. It combines elements of surfing, skateboarding, and primarily snowboarding techniques. Our professional boards are equipped with the same bindings as snowboards. The untouched dunes of Mozambique Beach offer an ideal setting for those seeking an experience away from the crowds, allowing exploration of various types and gradients of dunes! Optional transfers are available from the Adrenailha base to the activity site on the Dunes of Mozambique Beach, located near Rio Vermelho State Park, approximately 5km from our base. These wild dunes are accessed via a trail, leading to the dune field. Before beginning, participants will receive a brief lesson and start practicing on smaller dunes. This exciting and adrenaline-filled activity offers varying levels of difficulty depending on the size and slope of the dunes, which affects speed. This location was chosen for its natural interaction and absence of unskilled tourists, enhancing the overall experience. After the activity, there is an opportunity to visit the source of Rio Vermelho or Praia do Moçambique.

The tour begins at the designated meeting point. After a gentle walk along the access trail to the dunes, participants will receive basic safety instructions. Then, the adventure begins in the dune field, offering endless paths for descent and opportunities to refine techniques with each ride!
As the sun sets and stars emerge, participants will gather their kayaks to admire the bay’s horizon. Check available dates on our website or get in touch with us.

Coma areia! - First: Thank you to Sandboard Experience by Adrenailha for their patience with our groups late arrival. And for the shoes my friend needed!
Second: Our teacher Martin did a fantastic job teaching us the basics beforehand and his generosity in his patience. Each of us were able to be coached separately and together in Português and English.
Third: Everyone who feels able but is curious should do this! It is one of my best experiences ever! My husband and I have done the Black Hole drop in Belize and hiked La Soufirie in Guadeloupe, we love adventure. Nothing has compared to this experience. Yes, the view was amazing and the sunset, but the coaching, being their with friends and talking to a young family who was our there enjoying the sand and watching us. Nothing beats it!

Once in a lifetime - This was a blast! Eduardo was the best guide. It ended up only being my husband and I so we got a private tour. The place he took us was so beautiful with dunes, mountains, and ocean in view. Highly recommend this company!

Very beautiful place and very cool experience - Very professional instructor, they followed and explained very well on how to stay on top. Very helpful and patient. Start in an easier place and work your way up. Very beautiful place. New equipment and in good condition. I will definitely take new tours with the company.

Fun times on the best sand - Super fun experience for all levels! The views from the dunes are very beautiful. And the sand was just so amazing! Actually, the sand was so nice, which may seem like a weird thing to mention haha. Beautiful walk to and from the dunes, as well.

Totally radical! - I had such an incredible experience doing sand dune boarding; what a thrill! Everything was great from start to finish. Excellent service, the raddest instructor, easy transportation to the dunes & a great lesson. We got to board in multiple different spots within the dunes, each one providing a different experience. It was a stunning area with great views & riding down on the board was such a unique experience! It’s something I’ll never forget & I highly recommend the experience as well as Adrenailha Aventuras!

Great experience! - Unfortunately, the start time (15:00) was not clear on the voucher, and we were far too early due to miscommunication. But fortunately they were flexible enough to do the trip with us at that time.
The great thing about this organization is that the boards have good clips that are stuck at two points. This makes it possible to steer betee.
Walking up the dunes again and again was tough, but definitely worth it!

Poor customer experience -very disappointed - We planned the trip with time in advanced and ensured we had a valid cancellation policy in case of any mishap, 41 hrs before the trip we were not able to arrive, we contacted Expedia and Sandboarding Experience by Adrenailha to use the cancellation policy and for our surprise they did not honor it. Expedia had a sudden mistake in their page that did not allow the cancellation and the customer service representative were far from helpful. We contacted the merchant and they didn't want to honor the cancellation policy either (they might be in need for money). For next time, we will not book our trips with them (and will advise other), as I can not trust a merchant that does not honor their terms and conditions including the cancellation policy. Very disappointed ☹️!
