Fine Bulgarian wine - We went with 8 people from the Netherlands. We had a lovely bulgarian wine tasting with Kalin. He was passionate and knowledgable. We had a selection of bulgarian wine from differnt regions of the country. Kalin told us about the wine regions and their heritage and history. Some of the wines are bottled and supervised by Kalin himeself. We drank some wines with a small bottle volume wich makes for very intesting tastes and expressions. All this was acompanied by some bulgarian bites wich were also fantastic. We ended up buying some of the wines we tasted because these flavours are rare and delicious. If you have an hour or 2 in Sofia i would definately recommend you give Kalin a visit.

Unique wine tasting - I had a very nice winetesting experience with Kalin - a kind and passionate host. He gave a excellent in depth description of the Bulgarian wine industry and its long history. The 6 wines were of unique and high quality as were the nibbles and the tastings were good pours. Also served was 4 lokal cheses and sausages, which were great too. Kalin spoke in very clear and understandable English. Highly recommend and a must visit if you are going to Sofia! Price was also very fair.

Knowledgeable and delicious wine tasting - Excellent and knowledgeable wine tasting. We tried a wide variety (white, orange, rose, red) and learned a lot about the history of wine in Bulgaria. It was a wonderful learning experience and we walked away with some delicious wines to add to our collection.
