• Iskar Reservoir - Geological Park Iskar–Panega is an UNESCO-run Geopark in Northern Bulgaria, located 3 km south of the municipal centre Lukovit. It consists of two sections: the Karlukovo Karst Complex lies in the valley of the Iskar River, while the Roadside Landscape Park “Panega” is at the Zlatna Panega valley.

With no prior training required, and suitable for kids aged 10 and above, kayaking in Iskar reservoir is fun and exciting. Our adventurous trip begins from Sofia, running from March to November. Everyone partaking in the adventure receives comprehensive instructions on water safety, elementary kayaking techniques, and behaviors in the water from a seasoned instructor.

We spend about 2 hours in the water, the duration determined by your gusto and fitness level. With a total spread of 30 km2, the reservoir gives you the chance to admire the gorgeous scenery along its banks.

As we conclude our time amidst pristine waters and the scent of nature, we return to the hustle of the city life. There’s no denying that you feel the most rested and rejuvenated when you’ve had a taste of extreme fun in the outdoors - it’s been tried and tested!
