Rila National Park - Travel to Panichishte, where a cable car will take visitors to the “Rilski Lakes” hut (2150m). The trek begins at an altitude of 1800m and concludes at 2500m at the final lake, known as “The Tear.”
All the lakes are glacial, and their names reflect their shapes - The Kidney, The Twin, The Fish Lake, The Eye, and The Trefoil….

Participants will embark on a hiking journey into Rila National Park to witness the pristine, crystal-clear lakes. The trek begins at an altitude of 1800 meters and concludes at 2200 meters at Kidney Lake, where five of the lakes can be admired.
Most of these lakes are glacial, with names inspired by their shapes.
After the hike, participants will relax in the warmest mineral spring, soothing their bodies. They will also have the opportunity to see Bulgaria’s only natural geyser. Before returning to Sofia, there will be a short walk to the highest waterfall in the region.
Please note: Tickets for the spa and chairlift are not included in the price.
