Karlovo and Kazanlak stand as the cradle of Bulgaria’s rose-oil production, with the oil-producing rose serving as a dominant national emblem. As the foremost provider of rose oil globally, particularly for the cosmetics sector, Bulgaria’s expansive rose gardens in Kazanlak and Karlovo are unrivalled in size. This unique species of rose (Rosa Damascena or the Damascus Rose) is indigenous to only a handful of locations globally, including Bulgaria.
Drawing from our extensive experience, we have found that the locally managed festival can potentially cater mostly to tourists and might lack in organization. In 2019, we aspire to deliver a novel experience, which includes a tour of an authentic rose-distillery, commencing from their dedicated rose and lavender fields. We anticipate that our personalized arrangements, supplemented by local civic events, would provide an enriched experience for our visitors.
