Amazing experience climbing Vitosha Mountain! - I had an amazing time climbing Vitosha mountain with Avi as my tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable, skilled as a mountain guide, and interesting to talk to. It was a nice climb: we ended up doing 19.5km of walking, 32,000 steps, and 1500 meters of elevated climbing. I think I would describe it as a moderately difficulty climb. You definitely need good trail shoes, as there are a lot of rocks paths for which normal running shoes wouldn't be suitable. Furthermore, a water bottle, sunglasses, sun screen and bug spray are also necessities. Most people can complete it, but you will definitely feel it in your legs at the end of the day. Overall, I had an awesome time, and the breath-taking view of Sofia at the summit makes the trek totally worthwhile! Thanks again Avi!

What an adventure - Tsetso was a fantastic guide and very informative and experienced. This is a hard hike and he took all precautions to keep us safe..He advised us at the start of the hike about the difficulty..Hiking shoes are a must. We hiked about 17 km with 1100 m elevation gain.Quite the workout with a great guide.I would highly recommend it

beautifull view over the city, with a beautifull road to it - We had a marvelous time on this tour with Lachezar Gudev as our guide. He guided us through a personal route on the mountain right to Kemendall viewpoint in witch he took our sense for adventure, our fysical condition and our disabilities into account. This way he made the road to the viewpoint at least even interesting as the viewpoint itself, which is really something you can not miss when you visit Sofia. We also learned much about Bulgarian daily life and the bulgarian filmindustry from our guide that also seemed to know a lot about other touristic places in Bulgary. In short we couldn't be in better hands during this trip that was a great succes with many thanks to this wonderfull man. We advise this tour to anyone who wants to discover Sofia and likes to be in the nature as well, as we also would advise you to turn to Lachezar Gudev if you want a good guide or some good tips for a trip in Bulgary

Perfect experience of Mt. Vitosha with Nadia - Me and my partner was guided by Nadia and she really brought us to places where u can see the best views of Sofia from the mountain. She is very knowledgeable. However we tried to contact the tour agent for her email address as we have some pictures to exchange but we haven't heard from them. Other than that, the best tour for Sofia. Great job.

Guide knowledge of mountain routes and Bulgarian history - The tour advertised up to 16 people but we were the only ones who signed up for the day so we got a private tour. Our guide knew a lot of history about Bulgaria and was knowledgeable about the forest and mountains. We couldn’t manage the full hike but our guide was able to pivot to give us a beautiful experience and look off point with a much shorter trek.

Bad experience - I have book this hiking tour and expecting to hike up to Vitosha summit as per the itinerary, but unfortunately I was not well known of this place and was not brought up to the summit by the guide. I remember I did ask the guide but she said if we would hike up to summit is going to take more time. She said usually the tour is up to where she brought me to, which it call Kamen Del. But in the itinerary was to Vitosha summit. It does not matter of the time that I have to hike, if the itinerary said to go to the summit, the guide should guide me and bring me to the summit. Due to I did not bring a copy of the itinerary, I could not demand and ask to bring me to the Vitosha summit and I just have to follow the guide. When I come back to my hotel and I check the itinerary, it said hike to Vitosha summit and have a beautiful view. I am not happy about it and I wrote to a message asking why I was not guide and hike up to the summit but no reply from the message, please do something about it and please reply to my message. Thank you. My advice to others, please bring a copy of your itinerary when you follow the tour with this company. Otherwise you might not get what you are paying for.

Mis-sold - we did not climb the mountain nor was it 10 hours, plus delayed pick up. - We were 40 minutes late to be picked up. The tour is factually incorrect - we did not climb any mountain. Very, very disappointed.
