Not to be missed! - We visited the Temple of Hathor at Dendara, and the Temple of Seti I and Temple of Ramses II in Abydos, which were absolutely breathtaking. Don’t be put off by the traveling hours as they’re all worth it! Booking with Mohamed from the beginning was simple and quick. And we’re so glad to have Rady as our guide on this tour. He is passionate and knowledgeable about ancient Egyptian history. It’s been quite a long day given the distances covered, but Rady was so much fun to spend time with! Everything including pickup and meal was nicely arranged too.

A very pleasant trip into the past - Archeologist with PhD and a very experienced driver! What else you can imagine to see marvelous blue colors of Dandera and fine carvings of Abydos!

Excellent to see Temples of Hathor, Seti 1st, and Outside Osirion - The entire tour experience was good. Our guide Mohammed brought us to Dendera and Abydos. He was knowledgable and communicated well in English. These two templea see lesser tourists, so the site visit was very relaxed and we could take our time soaking in the sights. Abydos is especially worthwhile, as the amount of hieroglyphs preserved was impressive. Not to mention the Osirion temple , although closed, was an amazing sight to behold. The massive granite bricks and still flowing green waters within the temple was mind boggling. Highly recommend this tour to people who want to go beyond the standard tour sites.

Unbelievable journey - Dendara and Abydos are amazing temples and worth visiting despite the long drive from Luxor. Especially Abydos is decorated with fully colored relief which might be the most beautiful in the ancient Egyptian temples. Our tour guide Rady is really professional ,quite reliable and good at time management. His knowledge in the ancient Egyptian history and culture is amazing. Thank you Rady for giving us a wonderful time to see around such beautiful places.

Astonishing trip! - Early start and the guide Rady and our driver were perfect on time. The first temple Dendera was reached after a safe trip, and we were the first visitors. A very impressive and well preserved temple and even more fascinating because Rady gave a passionate and professional explanation. The second temple is upon its best when explained in detail, and Professor Rady was perfect in it. After a fine lunch with locals we turned back to the hotel and will remember the trip as one of our most surprising ones! Thanks!

Don’t miss a trip to Dendera and Abydos! - My driver Salah was really accommodating and friendly. He made the journey to Dendera temple and Abydos so enjoyable for me and I really appreciate it. He also stopped at a couple of places along the road and introduced me to local pottery, which I purchased and he also bought me some fire roasted sweet potatoes a local man was selling…so delicious! I will never forget my wonderful trip. Thank you Salah!! 😍

Amazing experience with an incredible human in a clean and comfortable ride. You won’t regret! - Our driver was an amazing individual. He didn’t just drive us around. He told us the best places to visit, including which temples in Luxor. He also told us which places not to visit and avoid. The car was clean, new and air conditioned. It was a very comfortable ride. Such an amazing time - We had an amazing day trip to Dendara & Abydos temples. We were lucky to have Rady, our guide, who was already waiting for us in the hotel lobby well before our early morning pick up time. It's a relatively long drive to the temples but thanks to Hossam, our driver, we always felt very safe and he made sure we had maximum comfort. Rady has an extensive knowledge of ancient Egyptian history and the way he explains things is truly fascinating. None of your questions will remain unanswered. Both Dendara and Abydos are were much worth visiting, less touristy, spectacular, highly recommended! In Abydos we were taken to a small family run restaurant for lunch where we had the best food we had eaten in Egypt. On the way back to our hotel they were nice enough to make a detour to a local oil / perfume store at our request. Both of them went above and beyond and really exceeded all our expectations for the day. Bravo. Highly recommended!
