• Self Realization Fellowship Hermitage & Meditation Gardens - Visit the stunning and historic meditation gardens established in 1938 by Paramahansa Yogananda. Enjoy a walk through the gardens if desired!

Please note: Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, access to the gardens is currently restricted. However, walks will resume as soon as possible. Meanwhile, enjoy the breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean from the property’s border.

• Del Mar Race Track - Since its founding by Bing Crosby in 1936, the Del Mar Racetrack has been a central attraction in Del Mar. The fairgrounds have hosted the Del Mar Fair (also known as the San Diego County Fair), thoroughbred horse races, and during WWII, the racetrack was temporarily closed to manufacture parts for B-17 Bombers.

• VG Donut & Bakery - VG Donuts is a beloved donut shop and bakery, family-owned and operated since 1969, spanning three generations! Stop by for a fresh donut if you wish. Nearby, you’ll also find the classic Pipes Cafe and Besta-Wan Pizza, Encinitas’ oldest restaurant still in operation!

• San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve - This lagoon is one of San Diego’s largest wetlands, covering 979 acres. The reserve is primarily a shallow-water estuary, formed where the Escondido and La Orilla Creeks meet the Pacific Ocean. It’s fascinating to show guests this part of the tour during low or high tides, as they can return 6 hours later to see the dramatic changes with the tides.

• Fletcher Cove Park - Fletcher Cove Park is a local gem for basketball, beach access, and a children’s playground. It features a lifeguard station and a ramp for easy water access. Public restrooms and showers make it an ideal spot for a family beach day. During Christmas, a beautiful tree with ornaments is displayed for all to enjoy.

• Moonlight State Beach - Moonlight State Beach is a popular destination for families. With firepits, volleyball courts, ample sand, and a concession stand for snacks, there’s something for everyone. We’ll guide you past it so you know where to cool off with a swim in the ocean after the tour.

• Encinitas Boathouses - The Encinitas Boat Houses are a quirky and iconic spot in Encinitas. Although these Boat Houses have never touched the sea, you wouldn’t guess it by their appearance! Built from an old bathhouse and hotel, these homes are rented at a premium. While entry is currently restricted, there are plans to convert them into a museum or historical landmark open for tours in the future.

This journey will guide visitors through 4 distinctive neighborhoods in Northern San Diego County; Del Mar, Solana Beach, Cardiff By-The-Sea, and Encinitas. What sets this tour apart is covering nearly 15 miles in a span of 2.5 hours on efficient and user-friendly electric bicycles. All the bikes we offer have varying levels of pedal support, and even options to engage a throttle.

We offer bicycles that can accommodate riders who are 5’0’ and taller, and we haven’t forgotten the kids! We have in our possession two (2) Rad Power Radwagon cargo bikes which can seat up to two youngsters. Furthermore, we have child seats that can support children up to 45 pounds which can be fixed onto our electric bikes.

Our tour guides are well-versed in the North County landscape and can provide insights on local food, beer and wine selections, artists, art exhibits, popular surf areas, and a whole lot more. If there’s something specific you’re keen on seeing, doing, or learning about in the region, feel free to ask us!

Please be aware that a majority of the biking will be conducted on streets or within bike lanes.
