Amazing day! - Absolutely fantastic day. Very chilled day if you want to get away from the rush of a busy waterpark. I would recommend having breakfast beforehand and getting their early. Breakfast at the park was half 9 so whilst everyone was busy with that we got onto the slide instantly and straight on to the river with barely anyone there. We did the zip bike which is fantastic but gets very hot so recommend that in morning then the lazy river after (as they are quite close) to cool down. Take full advantage of the photos being taken, you don't have to purchase beforehand so you can take the photos through the day and check them at various points before buying. Honestly 10/10 day and would go back in a heartbeat

Don't forget to go to Xel-Ha! Is incredible - Unmissable excursion in Riviera Maya. We had been a few years ago and found it improved, with more attractions, restaurants with better dishes and service. This time we went with our 6-year-old daughter and she had an unforgettable day There is not enough day to do everything they offer (at no extra cost) The slide is a 10 adrenaline rush Don't forget to visit this park

Beautiful and fun park - Went as a family of 5 (3 teen boys). It’s really a beautiful park and you will be in the water all day. My kids loved the tower slide we did it a bunch of times. The zip lines into the water were fun. They also loved the cliff jumps. By midday we pretty much did everything (other than the premium things) once so we went round 2nd time and took it slower by chilling in the tubing longer. The restaurants actually open earlier than they say, we waited to go and once was already full by the time we walked over for breakfast but then we walked to the other one. The maps are confusing but it’s not really that big so even if you go the wrong way it’s not far to backtrack. We took the bus booked via xcaret when we got the tickets online and that was helpful because our guide was organized and we had wristbands on before we walked into the park. We went the week leading into Easter in March and even though it was a Saturday it really wasn’t crowded we never waited long for any activity. That said bring reef safe sunblock we all burned a little even after reapplying, it’s a lot of water and it probably washes off quickly. The food wasn’t great for a vegan but the rest of my meat eating family enjoyed all the meat stuff. Also we did Xplor a couple days later and we all agreed that we like Xel Ha better.

Very fun and varied. - Tickets on the xcaret website, choose with transportation. The shuttle runs early. Type 8.3 you're in the park. First I recommend going to the Tobogán, which fills up and I'll warn you, the final fall is hard... It's not for everyone haha older people I don't know if it can last all day since the transport takes you back at 6 pm and you arrive around 7pm to Playa del Carmen. Playa del Carmen is closer so I recommend doing it from there and not from Cancun. You walk all day. It has towels, locker services, it is endless and beautiful. All inclusive of drinks and meals. Go with energy!! They have breakfast there and start the adventure. Or they go later because they come back at 6:00 p.m., they will have plenty of time, we are 30 years old and at 3:30 p.m. we were no longer walking so much haha.

Amazing and Unique All-Inclusive Experience - Amazing experience! Going into it, I had high expectations because Xel-ha is already so well-reviewed. After visiting, it was easy to see why so many people love this place! The activities, environment, and gastronomy were all great! I particularly loved the snorkeling. I have never done it before so to be able to do it in this space was really nice. The park is MASSIVE. There is so much space to explore and the activities are well spread out. The food and drink options were both really good! It's lovely that these were included in the ticket. If you're not staying in an all-inclusive but want a day to feel like you are, go here!! We had a blast! Peep my Instagram for content from my travel adventures @drotravels :)

Amazing day.. but.. be aware! - Good food, the lazy river is amazing.. cliff jumps good for adrenaline, plenty to keep you busy for a full day with all the mini attractions such as rope swings, zip lines, water slides, and Mayan caves ... speaking of Mayan caves.. there is an option to explore an original Mayan cave, where there is a pre set up photo opportunity on a partially submerged rock.. whilst myself and my wife where having this photo taken, a very large Moray Eel came from within the rocks that we were guided to lie on top of.. and came within inches of my arm before I noticed it.. a close encounter I neither paid for nor wanted! .. I advised site officials but I don't think much action was taken apart from a few radio messages. The only other 'con' (good choice of word) is the very expensive photographs that are taken throughout the day... one photo that we wanted from the selection was $40.. we passed.

Great for first-timers & families - I saw another review that said if you were a first-timer to Mexico, this would be a place for you. I agree with that. I feel like families and teenagers especially would have a great time at this park. Or if you haven’t snorkeled before or done other excursions. My husband and I are more experienced snorkelers and this just wasn’t very exciting for us. I did see a few fish. The waterslide was fun and very fast. We did do the cliff jumping which was also fun. Note! If you have a beard, bring your own mask, They only offer full face masks and they won’t seal if you have a beard. So snorkeling for my husband was impossible. Also regarding the GF options… the food was labeled but inconsistently. I had yogurt with seeds for breakfast and at lunch we went to the Mexican buffet and I had chicken taquitos and tamales with guacamole which was tasty. I didn’t have any issues but tried to be very careful. I think the Mexican buffet had the most to GF options to offer for lunch as they use a lot of corn. We also just wore our life jackets and floated out in the middle of the bay which was probably our favorite activity. We did not purchase any of the add-ons nor do the photo package. Although I think a lot of people were having fun with that and I thought it was brilliant marketing for the park to do Xelfies!

Incredible park, outrageous prices for dolphin photos… - The park and activities are incredible. The cost of the additional activities seemed high to me. Swimming with dolphins is incredible, but disappointing that for a price as high as 110 usd/person in addition to the 160 usd paid at the entrance, they do not allow you to take photos and offer you at the end, without prior notice, photos of dolphins for 260 usd ( negotiable prices, they go down, in the end they left it at 160 usd which still seemed like a lot to me). Too bad that was the last memory. Whoever defines happiness ends with the photos, those who could not afford the photos for the memory nor those who paid a scandalous price.
