An amazing time - Loved the park. It is definitely worth it! The food was good, the experiences were fun, and the photo package was worth it. The park is well organized. It’s all natural and you can see where the river and ocean meet. When we got there we went to the ticket counter and showed them our viator voucher, it was very smooth. We recommend water shoes and a phone water pouch. However the photos they park takes are also amazing if you don’t want to bring your phone in the water. Go, you will love it!

I wouldn't stop going to Xel-ha if I went back to the Rivera Maya - It is EXCELLENT IN EVERYTHING!!! We went as a family and had a lot of fun. They make sure you're comfortable all the time. Excellent food, both breakfast and lunch and snack. All the super friendly staff. The Landscape cannot be described and the snorkeling activity wonderful. We had snorkeled before but in Xel-ha it has super comfortable masks with excellent visibility. You don't even have to worry about carrying your camera because they have an amazing photo system When we go out we all think that in Xel-ha you have everything in one place.

GREAT EXPERIENCE THAT INVITES YOU TO COME BACK VERY SOON - The views are still beautiful, the spaces allocated to enjoy it are excellent. Snorkeling equipment is always available which makes it easy to enter the cove at any time.

You should do this for sure in Tulum! - This is not just any water park. Unlike some in Florida, this was super clean, not overcrowded, the food was good and it is super well laid out. Kudos to the Xcateret Team on a wonderful must- experience for all families and others.

Day for Remembrance - It was great, we had an amazing time, my family really enjoyed it and so did I. The people who served us at breakfast and lunch are great, I don't remember their names, but it was great. I loved it.

Loved Xel-ha - Loved this park and all of the activities. Especially the waterslide. But mostly, a fun relaxing time with my Gal, enjoying everything we did at our own pace.

Xel-ha with our 3-year-old - We planned to go to Xel-ha one day while we were in Mexico and returned for another day because it was that magical of an experience! We had our toddler with us and she kept saying, "I like this place!"--and she's hard to please, ha! We had so much fun swimming, floating down the tangled mangrove river, cheering people on as they jumped off cliffs into the water, and seeing the manatees! My 3yo and I ran around for so long in the ropes up in the tree tops/treehouse in the children's playground. What an adventure! So stunning and such a fun experience. We plan to visit every year and will always incorporate a visit to Xel-ha!

3/4 of the family loved it! - On the last full day of a 9-day vacation, our family decided to get off the resort property and visit Xel-ha! We booked a day in advance with Amstar at our resort. It cost $560USD for the four of us, which seemed pretty steep, but it included round trip transportation—a bus that picked us up at our resort the next morning at 7:30am and delivered us to Xel-ha as the park opened at 8:30, and then back again at 6pm. It was a Saturday between Christmas and New Years so we expected the park to be busy, and it was, but we didn't encounter many wait times. The first thing I did was buy a waterproof phone pouch for about $40USD. Rather than just sell it to me, they had to prove the pouch worked by opening it and submerging it in water for several minutes, and then I had to sign a contract of some sort! I guess they really don't want to be held responsible for any damaged phones! I am happy to say it worked fine and I'm very glad I had my phone on me throughout the day to take lots of great photos. We then put our things in a locker and headed straight for the big lookout tower slide. Unfortunately, our 10-year-old son was not permitted to ride as his hand was in a cast. He had his cast covered with a waterproof sleeve, but he was still refused entry. He wasn't even allowed to stand at the bottom of the slide and watch the rest of the family come down. Oh man, his day was just ruined after that. He sulked around all day muttering "why, why why!" I understand the park's policy, but I think if we'd known in advance he'd be turned away from several attractions due to his injury we may not have come. The family did some snorkeling and had a late breakfast at a buffet. The food was decent, but we were surprised there were no meat products! The highlight for the family was the lazy river, where we tubed together and stopped off at various point to do zip lines and stuff. We spent a couple hours on the tubes and then grabbed a quick lunch. Our waiter was great and kept the frozen margs coming! In the afternoon our 6yo daughter parked it on the playground and my wife basked in the sun, while my son and I explored more of the park. Swimming in the cave and cenote were a hit with me, but my son got paranoid about what creatures might lurk in the water and mostly kept out of the water. We did a full lap, reconnected with the gals, and then did both attractions again. We didn't pay for any extra activities but some of them including the Adrenaline boat looked really fun! I was confused how to get back to our resort in Puerto Aventuras, but at 5:30 we returned to the parking lot and I simply asked a bus attendant and he directed me to the correct bus. Overall, a really unique park and great experience for 3/4 of the family! I feel like we could have spent two full days here. However you may want to forego this park if you have an injured family member.
