Awesome Experience! - We visited SM Prison and completed the Escape Room, loved every minute of it and the bonus tour around the prison was really interesting too! Shout out to our Prison warden Amy for providing a great time!

Good fun afternoon out. Would recommend and now want to try the other escape game. - It’s was really good fun and the puzzles were not as easy as I thought, got your mind really working. Staff were fun too. Amy and Georgia were our guards and were acting very strict which was making us laugh.

Who knew visiting a prison could be so much fun. - This was my first trip to a prison and I was very impressed. The facilities are great with a nice little cafe, plenty of seating and the staff were really friendly. We did The Cell escape room and after a little briefing we were locked in. It was tricky but fun to try and figure out all the clues and ways to progress. We did get stumped a few times but the guard was on hand to help us if we needed it. We both enjoyed it and felt good to be able to escape. We will definitely try The Hole at some point. We were free to explore the grounds at our leisure which is a great bonus as there is so much history to see. You get to view how the prison system has changed over the years, the types of punishment, the execution room and what cells looked like from hundreds of years ago to how they looked when the prison was still open just over a decade ago. All in all a great day out and being so close to the town centre and park, there's plenty else to do before or after your visit.

Quick escape! Top fun! - We thoroughly enjoyed our experience, it was challenging and fun. Finding hidden keys enabling us to find our clues to unlock the box to power the door release. We did it in 35 minutes, when we escaped the prison officers thought we had pressed the emergency release to get out where infact we had completed our room, they'd not seen it done so quick. Both officers were amazing, they were funny and welcoming. Very good at their job.

Escape room, amazing ! - we did the escape room then the self guided tour and it was amazing! we’d never done an escape room before but we will definitely be doing another one, the workers were very good actors (Amy&Will), and the rest of the staff were really nice, would definitely recommend!

Great. Would highly recommend. - We had a great time doing the cell escape room. And we managed to escape. Georgina was brilliant and really got into character. Would highly recommend and will go back to do the hole escape room!!

A great, affordable day out. - The whole experience was fantastic. All the staff were really nice and helpful.They are very entertaining when in character. Special thanks to Will and Erin our prison guards who made my daughter’s birthday extra scary with their experiences of the prison ghosts. The escape room was great fun (we managed to escape with 7 minutes to spare) and the price is good so will definitely be back to try and escape The hole. If you are thinking about going just do it as it won’t disappoint.

Friendly staff. Well worth a visit. - Visited on a family holiday in September. Really enjoyed the escape room. Will came shouting to put us In the cell with Erin as his backup. (They are not that scary really) The prison itself is fascinating and including in your ticket. The coffee was delicious and all prices were reasonable.

Brilliant fun for everyone! - Brilliant fun, Will was our prison guard and made it great theatrical experience. Unfortunately we didn't make it out but we were close! Definitely coming back to try The Hole as Will informed us it's planned out slightly differently depending how individual brains work with the clues! It was great fun and definitely makes you think! Self guided tour of the prison after was great and really interesting.
