Amazing place 🤩 - It was very good and welcoming. Staff made this even better with there acting abilities shouting at us. Please expect this and don't feel unwelcomed if shouted at. It's apart of the experience. Overall An amazing place and the escape room had loads of cool and amazing puzzles

Excellent experience, definitely recommend! - My 11 year old son has been bugging me for ages to do an escape room, and I'm glad this was his first experience of one because it was excellent fun! Amy, our "scary" security guard 😉 led us to the cells and stayed in character the whole time, she was fab. After a short briefing we were locked in and got to work. The puzzles were the right level of challenging for both of us to attempt, and we escaped within 35 minutes (not bad for just the 2 of us!) Amy was on hand to help if needed, she checked in every so often (although I think I was so engrossed I only noticed her when we were nearly finished!) Afterwards we popped back to the visitors centre for a hot drink and a map for our self guided tour of the prison. The prison itself was very sobering but also very informative - there were signs dotted around with info on prisoners throughout the years. Overall we had an excellent time and we hope to come back soon to do the other escape room, the Hole.

Great experience and lovely day out - Took part in the Cell Escape Room highly recommended for all ages & families, our prison officer Will was great and gave little clues along the way, after he told us about the history of the prison. We also did the self tour of the prison which was great to explore. All the staff were kind and friendly and catered to all our needs

Excellent experience - We all had an amazing experience. The clues were very challenging and fun. The staff were really friendly and very good at giving assistance when needed. The self guided prison tour was included and was very interesting.

A great experience - An excellent fun and challenging experience. We started well and seemed we were going to crack this well within the hour, but then whoops, no, we were at a standstill having revealed the clues but not sure how to use them. It was my first time in an escape room, but other family members were quite experienced. We managed to escape with only minutes to spare. I'd definitely try another escape room, after enjoying this one so much.

Amazing experience! Best escape room we've done! - What an incredible escape room! My Other half brought me here as a surprise for my Birthday on Christmas eve and was so surprised and impressed! What a brilliant idea of having escape rooms in a real life prison! It was so eerie and a little scary! We were greeted by the 2 'officers' Georgina and Erin and there were in amazing character, shouting at us for being a few minutes late! The Escape room itself was so good and we did need a few little tips and help which were great as not too revealing and pointed us in the right direction! And as a 2 we escaped with 1.5 minutes left! For anyone who loves escape rooms like us, or even if you haven't tried one before - this was SUCH a great experience and 1000% recommend! And on top of this, afterwards you get a free self-guided tour of the old prison included!

Fun and challenging escape room! - Friends treated us to the Cell escape room for Christmas last year! What a fabulous gift! Tia and Ally were our Prison Guards - Tia barked orders at us and locked us in our Cell and Ally gave us a few hints through our Cell hatch to help us escape! Really creative, challenging and super fun! Having the escape room in the actual Prison gave the challenge a whole extra dimension! Plus your ticket gives you full access to the Prison self guided tour - all very sobering! We would highly recommend this and can't thank our friends enough!!

Great Escape Room - We did The Cell escape room for my Daughters 13th Birthday Party. It was brilliant! Georgina was our Prison Guard and quickly put the excitable teenagers in their place, and into their orange jumpsuits! Definitely recommend.
