Terrible experience with this operator for a four-hour buggy tour with friends - I am writing this review to warn others about what can happen on a buggy tour. We booked a four-hour buggy tour because we thought we would get to see a lot and that the tour would include some cool routes. It was relatively expensive for the four hours, around €95, but we have to say it was still the cheapest of all the providers on Mallorca at that time in May, when it is not yet the season. That is why we chose monkey jetski tours (here it is under sea adventures). But now comes the clue: on Getyourguide or on site, nothing was explained about a deposit or an excess for damage to the buggies. Now the actually nicely planned tour takes an ugly turn. We now have very high costs as a result. We did not get a proper introduction or an explanation from the provider on site about excess, deposit, accidents, dangers, damage, etc. The only good thing is that the operator is very centrally located, so you can find the operator quite well. Everything else was terrible for us and hence the warning. It seemed at reception that the lady at the counter wasn't really keen to give advice about the deposit. They just slapped the contract on us and asked us to sign it. It was a simple formality and not really well explained to the customer. You either pay €20 for the insurance or €1500 as a deposit. There was no precise explanation, no advantages or disadvantages, what happens if this or that. After we decided on the €1500, we went to the buggies. There was no instruction, no introduction, no explanation, NOTHING!!! At some point we noticed that there were pictures on the buggy, for example, that you shouldn't stretch out your arms in the event of an accident or how to signal, etc. In any case, we had throttled buggies to begin with, we had no protective clothing. There was just a rickety little cover over the head, a balaclava. We just drove mindlessly through the streets, so you can definitely save yourself the four hours. You do see a bit of the landscape, but that's it. There was a cool stretch of road through rocky mountains and some hills for about 10 to 20 minutes. Unfortunately, we tipped over with the buggy and there was an accident. The tour guide was miles away and we could have died here without anyone noticing. But there were several members here who helped us with the buggy. I have no idea what it would be like if it was a small group. But that's exactly how this organizer seemed, with no sense or reason and simply no plan for what would happen if something happened. At registration and with the tour guide, you are treated like a burden so that this burden is over quickly. Now we come to the €1500 deposit that we paid. Unfortunately, we didn't really consider that if something happens, €1500 of it will definitely be withheld. Now, of course, we are left with the costs. In our eyes, the accident was a trivial matter. It was just a scratch on the casing and a folding mirror, which you can normally reattach, broke off. The cost is an unbelievable €975!!!!!! Contact with the company went smoothly via WhatsApp, but I was just shocked. We will never do a tour like this again without insurance! We will never recommend this company, also because of the poor advice and the buggy tour itself. We are trying to get legal help, but unfortunately the liability insurance has already turned us down. Our appeal to anyone interested: Please be careful not to book anything here, no matter which tour, because it's the same everywhere. Be careful, as has already been written in many reviews, the buggies, jet skis, etc. are throttled. It is a company that cannot be recommended, so I can only advise against it, please just don't do it. Enjoy the city and just do something else.
