Amalfi Coast - Definitely a must-do experience with family and/or friends whilst staying in Sorrento!
The views by boat were surreal!
We had a nice stop off in Amalfi with time to get lunch and take in the sights of the town. Unfortunately and understandably we were unable to stop off at Positano but this was due to mooring safety as the sea was quite choppy.
Mario and Orlando made us all welcome and comfortable - played music and served drinks to add to it all, a massive thank you to them!
Not to mention Limoncello!

5 stars and more memories! - We had an amazing day with Mario and Orlando! They were energetic, insightful, and fun. We were able to also explore Amalfi and enjoy a delicious lemon sorbet. We had a great day on the boat and cannot wait to come back and book again!

Great Tour - Fantastic tour!!! Worth every penny!!! Our guide was Franchesco and he was great with my family as well as everyone else on board!! Small group so it was very personal!!! Would highly recommend!!

Great! - Great staff and service was wonderful. Only possible complaint is that we had to ask for drinks and weren't proactively offered them. Not such a big deal.

A fun trip - A great trip. The initial organisation of getting on to the boat could have been better with a lot of standing around whilst the tour organisers checked lists and told people which boat to go to. But from there all was good, There were only a dozen of us on the boat so lots of room and we were able to interact with the two lads who comprised the crew. The boat was comfortable. The guides were informative and friendly and told us what we were passing along the coast. We had ninety minutes in Positano and Amalfi each which felt long enough to get a brief feel for the place and to get a drink. We were given a very tasty ciabatta as part of the tour and as many soft drinks, beers, prosecco and Limoncello as we wanted. We stopped for a swim and were able to take as long as we wanted. On the trip back, the skipper opened up the throttle and everyone on board got soaked in the spray. Luckily it was a warm day so not a problem. The two lads really made sure that everyone had a good time and I can recommend this trip. Not the cheapest day, but it was one of the highlights of our holiday

Unorganized - The organization and communication at the meeting point were abysmal. Once we were on the boat, the crew did a credible job. The weather couldn’t have been much worse

Disappointing tour because of our inexperienced guides. - The tour delivered as advertised but as you most likely know, the real difference in any tours you take while traveling is through the guides who lead them. Our "Premium" tour of the Amalfi coast with stops in Positano and Amalfi through Sorrento Sea Tours was a real disappointment because our guide and Captain seemed far more interested in each other than in engaging with the guests they were there to serve. They certainly provided the obligatory information they were expected to and took us to all the places listed on the itinerary but in terms of making our day more memorable they added ZERO VALUE. There was speculation amongst us as to what they were actually doing during our 2 hour stops in Positano and Amalfi (nudge nudge wink wink) but regardless they were probably the least engaging guides we have ever had as seasoned travellers. Perhaps you should consider another tour operator who offers better training for their staff (or perhaps we just got the duds!)

Worst Boat Ride of My Life - Go with a different provider that values your time and your safety.
My friend and I arrived at 9am for the tour as listed on our ticket and Viator. They had us wait until 10am at the ticket stand for more people. When we asked for our money back, they put us on a boat and then we floated around aimlessly until 11am when the other guests finally arrived. This wasn’t the other guests fault, by the way. They were told they’d be picked up at 9:40am by the Sorrento Sea Tours, and were picked up late. I have no idea why we were told this would be a 9am start time.
When we were finally able to start the boat tour, it was very apparent it should’ve been canceled. The sea conditions were brutal, and by the time we got to the first stop in Positano everyone on the tour got off the boat and didn’t get back on. Most people on the boat were visibly shaken and seasick, and the skipper was still trying to get us to return to the boat for the next leg. Every other boat tour provider canceled their excursions that day out of respect for their customers safety. Sorrento Sea Tours did not.
If you’re gonna do a boat tour, go with another provider.
