Meet your boat in Amalfi, Conca dei Marini, Maiori, Minori, Praiano, Nerano or Sorrento, and your local supplier will provide basic instructions about your boat. Since this is a self-drive option, you will be your own captain for the day. Your boat rental for the day is a Zodiac, a small yet fast rubber motorboat, or a mini motorboat. Below is only a suggested itinerary with a selection of highlights from the day that you can experience. Note: Sights are marked “Pass By” simply because you can decide to spend as much or as little time as you would like.

Hire a boat at the Amalfi Coast, and take advantage of a full day at sea to discover the UNESCO-recognized region on your own. Pick a departure point that suits your needs, and then navigate around the idyllic coastlines, geological formations, coastal villages, and islands that define the uniqueness of the Amalfi Coast. You might visit places like Positano, the Li Galli islands, or even the nearby island of Capri. The powerboat accommodates up to five passengers, and all fuel, food, and beverages are for your own account.
- A maximum of 5 people per booking
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Departure time is flexible, between 10:30am to 11am
- Duration of the boat rental last up to 6-hours
- You are responsible for returning the boat in the same state you received it and for paying for gas consumed at the end of the day. If you damage the boat or lose any property of the boat, you will be charged to cover these costs.
- Drinking and driving is strictly prohibited. No exceptions and authorities will be called if we find that a driver is under the influence.
- DISCLAIMER: Pick up point may change depending on the option you booked and captain availability. Your local provider will confirm the exact pick up point the day before you excursion during the check-in.
- You MUST contact your local provider the day before your excursion! Use the telephone number listed on your voucher and get in touch via WhatsApp, text or phone call. This is very important!

Highlight of our trip! - Best way to see Amalfi Coast! Boat was easy to drive, we went from Maiori to Positano and docked at Lucibello - 20 euro for 2 hours - very reasonable. Had lunch and walked around a bit and then headed back toward Maiori and took in the gorgeous coastline. We tried to go swimming at the Grotta dello Smeraldo but worried that the anchor didn't catch the bottom so we just stayed on the boat to be safe. Saw Furore and all the little ports. Absolutely stunning and memorable. Would do again!

Don’t miss this amazing opportunity - What a fantastic day! We started in Sorrento and took a ride around the famous rocks on Capri and then up and down the amalfi coast with a 2 hour stop in Positano for lunch! A fantastic! Fantastic day!!!
Because we were staying outside of Sorrento, we were able to drop the boat off near our rented villa in Massa Lubrense and saved us $$ in cab fare!

Entire day to explore the coast - It is rare to ever be able to rent your own boat and explore on your own. We took our time and soaked up some of the most beautiful views on the coast. These are modest boats with no frills but got the job done. If you want to go into another port like Positano you pay a boat taxi to take you in. The Almalfie coast never disappoints and it was a perfect day. Thank you.

Friends Boat Day - The boat was great and the views were incredible. Pickup was easy and we were on the water within minutes. It was a very comfortable ride and we would rent again. We loved it!

So fun! - Staff was nice and welcoming. It was so nice to be able to go wherever we wanted without a scheduled timeline. 6 hours was a perfect amount of time. We were able to snorkel (bring your own equipment), stop for lunch in Positano (to park, a team boards the boat and parks for you), find a hidden beach, and see much of the coast. At first I was hesitant that gas wasn’t included as filling a boat can be quite costly, but it ended up working out for the best as they give you the boat with a full tank then you pay to refill what you used at the end.

Beautiful trip up the coast - This was quite the experience! The skipper picked us up in Sorrento and ferried us to the next town over, where they left us with the boat and a map with details on where we could or could not anchor. The sea was a bit choppy, and we were in a little boat, so it was a bit rough at times but still made for a beautiful trip. We ended up just going up to Positano and Spending the day on the beach, it was perfect for us! The only thing I was caught off guard by was having to pay additional for the gas after the excursion, we owed another $45 euros on top of the $800+ we already paid for the excursion. Luckily we had the cash on hand.. other that that, it was amazing!

Nice boat day went bad - The boat itself was nice and we enjoyed a day out on the water. The employees, however, were scammers. When they picked us up at the end of our day, they immediately said we owed them for a lost buoy before they even looked at the boat. There was no inspection before so we don’t even know if that was on the boat prior to leaving. After that, they took us to the gas station to fill the tank. They took one card for payment and said it didn’t go through so we had to provide a different card. After we left, we noticed that they did charge the first card so we double paid. We ended up paying €150 for a quarter tank of gas being paid twice and the “lost” buoy.
