A Fun tour of the beautiful Amalfi coast with Nello our great (not horrible) driver! - We did the driving tour of the Amalfi coast. We started with our Driver, Nello, picking us up right at the hotel about 8:00 AM and off we went. Picked up another couple , then started the drive out of Sorrento, heading first to Positano. You could tell quickly that Nello was experienced at doing this tour. He started out by talking to us and telling some funny stories and he was also a very good driver, especially on these very narrow, curvy roads! But he joked that he was a horrible driver, but nothing was farther from the truth! Our stop at Positano was just for about an hour. Enough time that we could walk around a little, down to the water and then meet back at the parking garage. It was a very pretty, but small town. We did get some pictures as he drove along the stunning coastline.
Our next stop was Amalfi. First, we got in line to get tickets for a short boat ride (which isn't always available) along the coast, then we had some time to walk around before being back for the boat ride. We wanted to walk up to the paper museum and as we started up, realized that we wouldn’t have enough time to get there and back so we stopped at a bakery instead and picked out a piece of lemon cake, almost like a pound cake, that we shared but it was sooo good. The we walked back down and meet our group for the boat ride along the coast, we went past a house that Sophia Loren used to own and we also went north up past Minori and Maiori then back.
Next we drove up to Ravello and had a really nice light lunch and some wine at a small, private place that had a great view out over the coast. We then had some time to walk around Ravello.
After Ravello, Nello drove us back to Sorrento by a different route that took us through some beautiful mountain areas. Overall, it was a very nice day and we saw some beautiful sights on our day excursion.

Best way to see Amalfi Coast - This day trip was from start to finish fantastic. Enzo was the perfect host / driver / guide. His commentary throughout the tour was first class and was easily understood. The suggested boat trip to see the coastline from the sea was one of the best things about the day.
If you want to visit the Amalfi coast do not look past this tour. Worth every penny

Italy at its best. - Italy at its best
Not been to Italy for over 14 years and and not been back to Sorrento in 36 years
What a delight Sorrento was. The start of the week was rather wet due to heavy rain but this didn’t stop us from enjoying the sights of Sorrento. Beautiful town, lovely people and amazing food.
Great location for exploring more of the south; capri is only a short boat trip (it is expensive so be prepared) Amalfi and Positano is only a bus ride away with its stunning coast line and the journey itself is a trill ride in it self. Pompeii and Vesuvius are only a short train trip away.
We are already planning are next trip to Italy.

Wonderful - We had been recommended and this tour did not disappoint. So glad we were driven along this road definitely would not do it ourselves, our driver Antonio was very informative with a good sense of humor and in no time we made friends with the other 4 people from Canada, we arrived in Positano before it got too busy and in Amalfi we took the boat tour which was amazing. The lunch venue had stunning views the food was also good, Ravello has to be my favourite.
This tour is great value for money and would definitely recommend.

Great day of sightseeing Amalfi Coast - Enzo was great - this was a fantastic day visiting Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello (our favorite). Enzo provided a wealth of information and anedotes throughout the day. Getting picked up at our hotel versus having to get to a tour meeting point was also great!

Highly Recommend! Enzo was great. - This was a perfect "tour of Amalfi" tour! We stayed in Sorrento and thoroughly enjoyed this tour, where we could experience Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello without actually staying there. Our guide, Enzo, was AMAZING! He was so knowledgable and personable, sharing wonderful information about the area, history, and also about what it means to be someone who lives in the area. He made great suggestions for coffee/food/things to see in each town. We added on an hour-long boat tour in Amalfi (group had to agree on it - day-of opportunity to add), and I'm glad we did it! We got a beautiful view of similar areas, but with a completely different perspective.

Relax on your Amalfi adventure - What a great time! Our driver, Nello, hailing from Sorrento, was a lively and entertaining expert driver around the Amalfi coast. I chose this tour because it offered more time in Ravello which had been recommended to me by a friend. It did not disappoint even with the simple, optional lunch with the most stunning views. Definitely trust your Amalfi visit to a professional driver and sit back and enjoy!

Nice tour, but drivers need to keep it professional and inoffensive - The tour was great and worth it - time well spent at the different towns. We enjoyed our fellow passengers, and our driver (I know his name, but conflicted about including it) was good at navigating the narrow roads. Lunch was also nice in Ravello. What we didn’t appreciate was learning about our driver’s views on women during the ride back to Sorrento. We wanted to hear about the towns and their histories, not about his personal life and dated, toxic attitude (calling his ex-wife a dog and bragging about cheating: “I trade in for a new ‘model’ every few years.” Haven’t heard that cliché since 1978). I really hope that the majority of Italian men don’t share his sentiments. If they do, they should keep their despicable thoughts to themselves, especially while on the job. No one in 2024 (and who isn’t a misogynist) wants to hear any of it.
