Perfect day on the Amalfi coast! - Just do it! The highlight of our trip! Salboats is a small family operation. The day included a narrated coastal tour, stops in Amalfi and Positano, 3-course homemade lunch on board made by the family with food from their gardens, a stop for swimming, and little surprises along the way. I looked into a lot of tours but is the only one I found with lunch on board which gave us more time (1 1/2 hours) at our stops. Captain Frank and our host Anna were so much fun and made it such a memorable day. It’s a small group tour and we only had 7 guests on board. It’s a great value and I highly recommend!

Day trip by boat to the Amalfi Coast from Sorrento - This was the best day trip of our stay in Sorrento. This is a family run business that knows how to take care of its guests. They picked us up at a designated place, drove us to the harbor, we boarded the boat and once on our way, Anna the host explained every view and the history of each place we saw along the coast. We had 1 1/2 hours in 2 stops, Amalfi and Positano. Both places were crowded, but we managed to walk around for a bit. After leaving Amalfi and heading towards Positano, Anna served an amazing simple lunch of homemade pasta salad with locally grown vegetables, tomato and mozzarella salad, home made bread and dessert cooked by her cousin! A stop for a swim and then headed back to Sorrento. An excellent way to see the Amalfi coast! Highly recommend this trip!

The best way to explore the coast - We had a perfect day on the boat, taking in the postcard scenery and listening to Anna share her knowledge of the area. We appreciated her tips for exploring the towns of Amalfi and Positano, especially the one for finding the best pastry in Amalfi! Lunch was wonderful and simple, just the way it should be: real, whole foods that tasted oh so good while cruising down the coastline. The limoncello and swim on the way back to Sorrento capped off a beautiful experience. Would do it again in a heartbeat!

Really enjoyable boat trip along Amalfi coast - We loved this trip, Anna was so lovely, she gave us lots of information during the trip and the caprese was the best I’ve eaten so far. Fred did a great job piloting the boat and was happy to see us sit up the front. It was exactly as described and we recommend it highly for a great day out

Long boat ride but worth the journey & lunch - We had a great day. Unfortunately, a popup thunder storm caused us to flip our itinerary. Resulting in 2 hours in Amalfi and 1 hour in Pasitano. When we did arrive in Amalfi, it rained hard for about the first 15 minutes. The rest of the day was clear sunny skies. Lunch while on route to Pasitano was amazing but a little hard to eat due to the rough season caused by the storm. Anna and Captain Franco did their best given how much the boat was rolling. Did I mention that lunch was amazing! Are only complaint is the boat is on the slow side. This might have been a result of the storm but it took around 2 hours to get to Amalfi. Other boats passed us with no issue. Fortunately good company with other passengers made the journey enjoyable.

A nice day trip - There were about 12 people on our trip and enough space for everyone without feeling crowded. We were given facts about places along the coast throughout the journey which was really nice. First stop was Amalfi where we had 1h30mins of free time and then we went to Positano for another 1h30mins of free time. It was great to explore both towns but they were quite similar in terms of shops so I wouldn’t mind if our time in either was slightly shorter and we had more time to swim. Before Positiano we had lunch. The lunch was a pasta salad, caprese salad, and a chocolate dessert. There was one bottle of Prosecco which wws limiting for a crew of 12 so I wish we had more drinks. We were also only served drinks during lunch which was already more than half way through our trip. I think it would have been nice to have some drinks out throughout the trip and maybe something light to snack on. The swim was quite short, which was disappointing and we only anchored once. The host was friendly and the boat was clean and felt safe throughout. In all it was a lovely day out.
