Had freedom to take the ski lift to the top of Capri for a great view or shopping. Our captain Giuseppe was funny and great at getting us close views of the grottos. Recommend!

Let me start by saying that... -
Let me start by saying that Guiseppi, the captain of our boat was fantastic. I was sitting next to him on the boat, and asked him a zillion questions. He answered them all and told us very interesting facts, which made the trip a lot of fun.
However, the trip started out very rocky. We were picked up 45 minutes late by a driver that seemed very stressed. We had to make several more stops to pick up the other people on the tour. We arrived to the marina over an hour and twenty minutes late. After we got back from the tour, we were shuffled off the boat and almost thrown into the waiting van by the guy in charge of the tour. One of the young ladies on our tour asked to use the bathroom, and he very rudely told her to find one on the way back to Sorrento, because the Van could not stay in the parking area for even a minute. Then I got into the van with my husband and granddaughter, and found that the van which holds seven passengers, now had eight passengers. I had to sit in the back of the van with three other people, and was squished the whole way back, without a seat belt, in fact I was sitting on the seat belt which was digging into my back for a half hour. The driver was very apologetic, and I don't blame him. It's totally the tour company's fault. Short of that, it was a beautiful day.

First of all: This tour WAS NOT AS... -
First of all: This tour WAS NOT AS ADVERTISED, which is why I consider it a ripoff. To give a short overview of the ACTUAL tour: the tour did not start from piano di Sorrento but from Massa Lubrense. There we took off and were driven right away to Capri - no visiting of Marciano, Mitigliano or Bagni della Regina Giovanna as in the description and hence no free time for snorkling. In Capri, we were given 4 hrs to visit the place, and to say our skipper and his assistant were unhelpful in describing how to get around capri would be understated. They told us that there was no way to get to the blue grotto by boat not included in tour as advertised, when actually there are tourist boats to blue grotto right next !! to the place they were dropping us off. Capri itself is really nice and I would absolutely recommend visiting also for shopping. Afterwards, we boarded the boat again and made a tour of the island of Capri and visited the different grottos. However, no explanations, not even the name of the grottos were given by the staff. Finally, we made the small stop for swimming and snorkeling and this part of the tour is the only reason I still give it 2 stars, as I really enjoyed jumping from the boat right into the sea. However, this leads me to another questionable incidence: one of our towels we were two friends fell off the boat, while we were swimming. We were later, when the towel was nowhere to be seen, told by the captain and his assistant they never told us their names that they saw it fall into the sea and and sink. At no point did they feel the need to tell us that someone's towel fell into the water! But I guess they were just to busy consuming their apparently newly found love...
In conclusion, we already did such tours also in Sorrento and felt that there are definitely more professional tour operators with better service around, thus we would recommend such boat tours in general, but not with this operator.

We didn't go to ANY of the places to snorkel that was advertised and we only went in the water ONE time without given a snorkel. It was a misleading tour and very expensiv
