Afterwards, enjoy a guided tour of the Gardens of Augustus. Take some leisure time on the island before heading back to Sorrento.
- Capri - Upon returning to the island, embark on a guided tour of Capri. Explore the various shops and artisans offering goods, including the renowned custom sandals! - The blue grottoes are only accessible if weather and tide permit.
- If the boat trip to the Blue Grottoes is not possible due to weather reasons, but the Blue Grottoes are still visitable, your guide will get you to the grottoes from land.
- Please note, in the winter months the Gardens of Augustus as well as the Monte Solaro chairlift may be closed due to maintenance. The funicular up to Capri’s main piazza may also be closed in the winter months for maintenance, in which case it will be substituted by a short taxi ride.

Capri Explored - No Stone Unturned - We had a wonderful half-day tour of Capri with Patrick as our private guide. His deep knowledge of the island’s history, culture, and hidden gems made the experience truly special. Patrick organized the logistics seamlessly—from transportation to timing—so everything ran smoothly and stress-free. He was friendly, professional, and genuinely pleasant to spend time with. Capri and the Blue Grotto - Carla was fantastic! She facilitated the trip with ease. We got where we needed, beat most of the crowds (in the morning anyway as Capri is BUSY), and if you ever got lost you just needed to yell “Carla, Carla, Carla” and she magically appeared. Great company and guide.

Great. Great. - It was a very nice, good, interesting tour. Everything will be arranged for you. If you want to adjust something, you can. Our lady Nati was very very kind and told about many interesting things we encountered. If you can, this tour is worth it.

The Perfect Way to Experience Capri – Scenic, Seamless, and Unforgettable - Our semi-private tour to Capri with LivTours was truly the best way to experience the island—combining a scenic boat ride with a wonderfully guided walking tour. LivTours always delivers top-notch service with guides who are knowledgeable, efficient, and incredibly welcoming, and this tour was no exception.
Our guide, MariaLuisa, was fantastic. Thanks to her, we were able to make the most of our time and see all the highlights, including an unforgettable ride in an open-air taxi up to Anacapri and a funicular ride to the top of the island—an absolute must for the breathtaking views that feel almost like you’re in a helicopter.
She also brought us to a charming local restaurant where we tried the delicious ravioli caprese, which she recommended. Her tips didn’t stop there—she gave us excellent suggestions for places to eat and things to try in Sorrento, too.
After the walking portion, we did a ferry boat tour around the island. It was quite hot that day, and although we weren’t able to enter the Blue Grotto due to choppy water and long wait times (over two hours!), we had already planned a separate full-day boat tour for another day where we swam in the Green Grotto. In the end, we got the best of both worlds.
Highly recommend this tour for a well-rounded, memorable day in Capri! Thank you, MariaLuisa!

Private Capri Shore Excursion with Maria - Maria was an excellent guide. She met us at our cruise terminal right on time and our day trip to Capri began. She was very knowledgeable and attentive, and knew all the tricks to get us through each part of the island with little waiting in lines. She did a great job and was alot of fun. We stopped at several spots for excellent sights and photo opportunities. The chairlift was a big hit with our kids. And the boat tour was a highlight for the parents. At the end she took us all the way back to the cruise terminal entrance. She handled all the tickets and lines for us, making the whole day effortless.

Amazing Boat Tour of Capri - My family and I recently experienced a Capri boat tour with Alessandro, and it was an absolutely unforgettable day! Alessandro was a fantastic guide, sharing facts about the stunning sites around Capri.
One of the highlights was the mesmerizing Blue Grotto. The glowing blue waters were magical. Cruising past the iconic rock formations around Capri was breathtaking, and seeing a 400+ foot mega yacht was jaw dropping.
Alessandro's friendly demeanor and deep knowledge of the area made the tour both informative and fun. I wholeheartedly give this experience a glowing 5 star rating. If you're planning a trip to the Amalfi/Sorrento area, don't miss the chance to boat with Alessandro—you won't be disappointed!
