Not To Be Missed - We have been traveling through Italy for almost 2 weeks. We have had outstanding experiences at Lake Como in Venice in Florence And in many small towns and cities along the way. But the best part of our visit was going into Anna Marie’s home and spending the evening with her preparing her family dishes from scratch. We had a wonderful time and learned so much making chicken cacciatore, eggplant Parmesan, making two different kinds of pasta from scratch, and then transforming it into linguine, spaghetti, and ravioli. There were eight of us altogether, and we did not know these people, but we soon develop a wonderful rapport with each other in the warmth of the kitchen in learning new methods of cooking and drinking wine while we were doing it. At the end, after all the food was cooked we sat down together the table and ate it family style. We all agreed that it was the best meal that we had had in Italy, And we came home with some really great recipes, the knowledge of how to make them, and some wonderful memories.

Best Cooking Class, Best Family and A Lot of Fun! - My husband and I went to the cooking class and met for the first time two other lovely couples in the class. We had so much fun with the family. We made three amazing dishes and desert! Everything was delicious! As we were making homemade pastas, we enjoyed Italian red and white wines while viewing the countryside of the farm. I cannot say enough about this family. They are warm, kind and as I said, a lot of fun!

The best of all - true Italian cooking, delicious and fun. - What a fabulous day, from foraging around the farm for fresh herbs, eggs and tomatoes to being invited into the true Italian kitchen to cook with Giovanni and his Aunt Maria. Small group meant we were all hands on, lots of fun, laughter and beautiful true home style Italian food which we then sat down to eat on the balcony. Many happy memories for us all - chauffeured to and fro by cousin Luigi - can’t get a better experience in Sorrento.

Felt like a local, ate well! - My son and I had no idea what to expect when Luigi picked us up from our hotel and took us up the hillside! The outdoor kitchen and family estate/Air BNB is a very welcoming place. Anne Marie, in the photos, told us we would be making 3 dishes and a dessert! I believe she harvested most of the ingredients from her garden before we arrived. The rest was from nearby neighbors, even the wine, yum! Anne Marie was patient with us, guiding us through the tasks, from cleaning, cutting, mixing, cooking and making 2 kinds of pasta. My favorite of the 3 dishes was the eggplant, who knew I could like it so much. There was also a chicken dish with the noodles we made and the Ravioli. The sauce we made went on 2 dishes. My son and I would both highly recommend this excursion. You will feel like family by the time Luigi takes you home, stuffed!

Absolutely AMAZING!! - This was the most beautiful setting for an amazing experience and the highlight of our trip to Sorrento! 10 stars! This class is set on a villa overlooking the Sorrento. We picked fresh herbs for our meal. They make their own olive oil and limoncello and rent rooms. I wish I could have stayed here. Laura was so kind, generous and gracious. We made a 5 course meal including pizza, two kinds of pasta, bracciole, limoncello tiramisu and wine. We left with a book of our recipes and some that she added for us.

Relaxing cooking class on a beautiful farm - The family at Villa Pane provided a relaxed evening on their beautiful farm. We enjoyed learning Giovanni’s cooking techniques and the aspects of their organic farm. It was fun watching my daughter make the gnocchi dough. The meal was very good and sitting outside watching the sunset was special.

Fun evening with great food and laughter - Highlight of Sorrento. My kids loved this cooking class. We enjoyed the narrow roads to the Villa, Guido, the farm tour and Anne Marie’s cooking lessons and hospitality. A wonderful evening. The food was delicious too! Definitely something to do when in Sorrento!
