Amazing experience-highly highly recommend ! - What an amazing way to spend time in Sorrento! 4 of us did this cooking course with Carmen. We made pasta, gnocchi and limoncello tiramasu. It was absolutely brilliant. Carmen is great fun and full of life and makes the experience even better! We were laughing the whole time. Unlimited wine and prosecco! The staff were all exceptionally friendly. We had such a laugh and they send you the recipes afterwards if you would like to try at home. We ate the pasta and gnocchi afterwards, as well as the tiramasu and it was delicious! I highly recommended. Thank you Carmen and staff.

An Experience to Remember - Amazing cooking class, Carmen was so fun and friendly. Learned how to make gnocchi and pasta the real Italian way. A wonderful experience for my friends and I, so many laughs and memories. Thank you Carmen and her team for making a raining afternoon in Sorrento one to treasure. Xxx

A definite Sorrento experience that you must look in to! Great memories! - Have visited Italy several times and a cooking class was always on my bucket list but the previous itineraries were always too busy. My patience paid off as my wife and I struck GOLD with this 10 AM cooking class at Cucina del Gusto with Chef Carmen! To begin, we were provided with aprons and all of the utensils and ingredients needed to make our 3 course meal - gnocchi, eggplant parmigiano and Limoncello Tiramisu. Is this not the best menu!! And did I mention your choice of red or white wine, Prosecco and water throughout the class. It just keeps getting better! The musical accompaniment was also quite fun and kept me moving! We shared this experience with another couple which we had never met and this only added another depth to the experience. Back to the cooking lesson- this was totally hands on with instructions from Carmen as the meal preparation continued. Making Gnocchi from scratch - ricing the potato, adding the egg yolk and flour and then kneading to the right consistency. Tricks of the trade shared by Carmen during this part of the class were invaluable. Rolling and cutting our Gnocchi was fun for all! On to the next course of the class- Eggplant Parmigiana. I have made this entree many times back home but this lesson has certainly upped my game! Instructions on how to choose the eggplant, how to slice and then how to fry was invaluable. I have already ordered my cooking tweezers and now have a new tool in my cooking arsenal. Carmen was right there by our side to instruct as to when to remove the eggplant from the frying pan so that the final dish was guaranteed to be perfecto! Our next step was to assemble the dish with the right amount of sauce, mozzarella and grated cheese. The dish looked perfect when completely assembled and the taste of the final product was Bellissimo! On to the next course class - Limoncello Tiramisu. Every restaurant and chef has their own recipe for Limoncello and this family recipe puts many to shame! Carmen prepared the tiramisu custard as we observed. Then it was our turn to assemble our individual tiramisu dish. Again hands on with lady fingers, limoncello and custard. I am truly loving this dream! Life is good!! We were then invited to sit in Carmin's restaurant while we were served the courses that we individually prepared. Absolutely delicious! This experience was everything I had hoped for and more! I think you surmise that from my review. Carmen and her immediate family- which we were all introduced to - made us feel like family and we loved every minute! Carmen - thank you for this fabulous experience, the cooking tips and secrets you shared and for making us feel so welcome. I will treasure this experience and put the newly acquired cooking skills to use while donning my new apron! Looking forward to a hard copy of the recipes. Ciao! Katerina & Tony!
